Now, for Plan B. Anyone have any idea what I want to be when I grow up?

I hear monkey training is quite lucrative.

I did it. I told DH I'm not applying to law school. It was rough, but necessary!!! He probably will not be speaking to me for a few days, but it's better than if I had spent a fortune applying, and on tuition, only to find out that it's just not doable here in the land of 2 hour commutes. (for those who don't know, we were supposed to move to Raleigh last summer, so I could go to school and we could live & work 10 min from our house. Thanks to the crappy real estate market and a promotion for DH here, it's not happening, so it's back to the drawing board for me)

Now, for Plan B. Anyone have any idea what I want to be when I grow up?

Travel agent?
Legal aid?
Debate teacher?

I realy don't know the area, so I'm not much help.
What is your BA/BS in?

I am typing something for the principal, but I see no reason why I can't quickly post. I will respond to all the RUDE accusations later!

I would like to announce that this morning when I weighed myself, I was another 2.5 pounds lighter! 7.5 pounds lost in two days? That just doesn't seem normal! Not that I am complaining!

I would like to announce that this morning when I weighed myself, I was another 2.5 pounds lighter! 7.5 pounds lost in two days? That just doesn't seem normal! Not that I am complaining!

Thats great though! Keep up the good work!

Some of it might be water though at that rate...

Also, one is lighter at the beginning of the day when they wake up than later in the day.

Thanks! I have BS in business management, but didn't plan on using it immediately. (was going to open a consulting firm with DH after law school) Really the problem I have is not what I am going to do but WHERE I am going to work. I have to find something in a 10 mile radius, (which equates to 20-35 minute commute) which isn't easy to do here. Most professional jobs are in the city, Tyson's Corner (20 miles from here), or out by Dulles Airport.

So, I'm currently looking at local government, law firms in the area that pay well, etc...

But thanks for the suggestions!

How's the architecture going? My DH is currently designing Targets and Costcos. He is bored stiff. He is used to doing casinos and high rises. But he still gets paid the same, so whatever!
