Becca says I have been a terrible hostess. So I brought snacks. How's about a little fondue, friends?

That's so much better! And I'll take the flaming Turtle too with lots of strawberries.
1st, you do NOT want to know about cream chipped beef. According to my dad, it was invented during WWII when everyone was on food rations. It's processed chipped beef (that is a weird purplish red color--definitely not natural) in a white "sauce" (flour and water gravy), usually served over toast. Often referred to as "S.O.S" (that's Poo On a Shingle). Sound tasty???![]()
2nd, please don't envy my yard work!! 'Cause really, I no longer have a yard!!
We had torrential downpours last night, so I was tramping around trying to see how much topsoil and sod I need to order to regrade our side yard, which has totally eroded this winter! Our house is one more heavy rain away from sliding down the hill. I am scared I'll pull up one day and see it floating in the creek!!!
Sorry I asked about chipped beef.
That made my stomach hurt and I threw up a little. Yuck!I have a mess too, maybe not as big as yours though. We've had lots of snow and rain this winter and my poor sandy soil didn't like it. I love yardwork though, I even miss raking leaves!
Yay!
This is the one place I wouldn't feel right to going solo (coming from the girl that eats a japanese hibachi tables solo) so hopefully i can convince Shaun soon.
Just make the reservation and drag him. My dh didn't want to go at all, but now he keeps asking when we can go back.
Throw in some Mad dog 20/20 and it's a real party!
I know someone who still drinks Zima, in public. And he's supposedly a man!
).
(That is unless I find a friend to go with me)
I do indeed remember Zima. Is that stuff still around?
How ya doin', Granny?
What's new with you?
Yup. Sounds like fun car trip to me!
