Maclaren Volo Questions

Hi guys! I'm about to buy Volo for our trip. Seems like the easiest to fold up quickly and it will hold my five year old. Wondering if there is any way to attach some kind of cup holder to this stroller, and if so what do you guys recommend?

Also, I read somewhere that you can get a carrying strap for it?

Finally, I'm thinking about buying it on Ebay, it will save me about 20 bucks compared to Target. Is Ebay ok for buying this kind of thing? I never use it.

We bought a Volo for our DD in 2005 just for a couple of Disney trips. The best money we have ever spent. The stroller is great and she was 6 when we bought it. She is turning 9 today and she could still fit in it if we needed her too and it still pushes like she isnt in it. She is 59 pounds now. Our Volo already has a carry strap that is very handy. The new ones should have that too. As far as a cup holder- I cant help you with that. I am also looking for suggestions for one for our Quest. Im not sure about buying it from Ebay. I would want to be able to return it if there were a problem or something. I dont think I would make such a big purchase from them. Check out where I bought my Quest Mod from:

This is where I ordered my Mac Quest from a few months ago. We needed a stroller that reclined (since the Volo doesnt) for our new DD and of course I said - only a Mac this time!! We have spent way too much money on other cheaply made strollers during the past 18 years!!

As I look at the albeebaby website, I notice that there are several different Volo strollers, and they say they are for 6 months and up..will my almost 5 year old fit in these??
Is there a specific Volo stroller that I should look at?
Time is running out, any help would be appreciated!!

Yes, your five year old will fit in it fine. Mine is a big boy and he fits in it great. We tried it out at Target. I'm sure he felt like an idiot in it, but he'll be glad when he doesn't have to walk all day and it will probably save me some meltdowns.

I'm hoping we'll get more use out of it with Baby #2 which we're going to try for soon!

Yep, like I said- my 9 year old fits in with no problem- yours shouldnt have any trouble at 5. They are all the same- they may just be a different year of different color. Terrific strollers

Maclaren has an after market organizer with cupholders that can be added to your stroller...

I bought both of my Macs (volo and quest) off ebay, each from a different seller. Both sellers were very professional and exclusively deal in selling strollers. Each of them arrived UPS new and in its original box. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from either of these sellers. The prices versus buying them anywhere else online or in the store were unbeatable. I have this cupholder on my Mac Techno and love it I just bought two more from this person on ebay I bought them on saturday and had them by thursday. They work great a little tricky to install but they hold and size bottle or cup securely.

On Amazon.com I bought a Johnny Jumper cup holder, $9.99. It has two cup areas, a zipper middle part for camera, and two front slots for cell phone or other.
I loved it.

I just bought 2 volos from the albeebaby website and they both had the carry strap. I have 2 boys ages 4 and 6. I tried them out at Babies R Us to see how/if they would fit in them, and they are great! The seats seem to be a bit larger than your traditional umbrella stroller...and OMG so easy to push!

okay, haven't been online for a few days but this is my pet topic.

My name is K. and I am a mac volo addict. Bought 2 for our Sept. trip and cant get my kids out of them adn I don't mind! Our trips are so much nicer now tht our DD2.5 and DSnearly 5 are contained and happy and easy to push!

2006 model comes with a carry strap, older ones may as well. 2007 comes with carrying strap as well as rain cover (yeah!).

I purchased valco cup holders. super simple to install, will hold anything from a baby bottle to a 48 oz mega soda cup, hot or cold and adjust beautifully. These are a little spendy but totally worth it, they do not break and are so strong.

I almost bought the mac organizer but did not like how it hung free/unattached at bottom? Also demi milan is a good one. I prefer to just use the basket underneath stroller seat for storage. It is actually quite a bit larger than most realize. (goes way up under the seat)
