Maclaren VOLO!!! I think I got a lemon!!

Hi all...

I bought a Volo last month. We have used it only a handful of times, and last week the carry strap came apart. Both loops that attach to the handles came apart.... Also, the seat is starting to unthread... Got it at Babies R Us, and it is the hot pink Special edition volo. My dd is 40 lbs, so she is well below the weight limit.

Has anyone else had any problems with their VOLO? I am upset because everyone says they are just great, but I am having tons of problems with mine.. It pushes like a dream, but is coming apart. And, at 120 bucks it should not fall apart like this....

What would you all do?

We have 90 days to take back to Babies R Us then the BPP kicks in for one year.. My DH says to treat it like our other strollers, and if it breaks to take it back. This way we know what it will do before we go to Disney?

Sorry for venting, but I am a little upset with our Volo.....

That's very un-Maclaren like. You got a dud. Return it if you can and get a new one in a different color.

Take it back. If BRU won't accept it, contact Maclaren directly, they have wonderful customer service, they once sent me a brand new stroller when I sent my ds' in for a repair.

PS--We love our hot pink Volo, maybe you just got a lemon.
