Maclaren users? Where do you put your bag?

I think the basket size is fine. I can fit a small cooler in the bottom for drinks/snacks etc and on top of the cooler I can fit sweaters etc purse in the area between the metal and stroller back.

I purchased a bag similar to lap top computer bag ( in style) paid only $7. Has long adjustable handle and compartments inside.

I extended handle to longest length and slipped right over top of handles and bring it down as far as it will go.

It is low down next to basket and does not tip the stroller even when full.

When we go on rides etc, I can take the bag off the back and strap it on my shoulder or around my body for easy carry.

That's my solution for storage space in the maclaren volo.

Thanks for all of your ideas! I got my maclaren out of the garage and I'm getting it all cleaned up and washed the seat cover. Hope I remember how to get it back on, lol!

Then I can start trying to find out what can go where. The main thing I want to avoid is having the stroller tip everytime my little one hops out. I usually bring my backpack diaper bag, but this time it seems that a few smaller bags might be better. I like the idea of bringing a larger bag to carry smaller ziploc bags of stuff that I can empty into the basket. I will also have some storage on the back of our rental stroller so I think it should work ok.

I just have to keep telling myself to pack light, lol!

I have the Scottie Dog Lulu Guinness stroller and that one is cute too!


LOL I'm jealous! I love the Scottie Dog Quest!! I just have a boring navy Insignia one that we haven't used yet really. But I am always looking on Ebay for a Scottie Dog or Andy Stripe one to come up for sale. LOL

We have the Techno XT. I carry a backpack and loop the straps over the handles like the stroller is wearing the backpack. It slides far enough down that it doesn't affect the balance of the stroller. Alternatively - since we almost never recline the seat - I can stand slide the backpack upright behind the seat into the storage area. So, the base of the backpack is sitting in the storage net and it's standing up behind the seat. That really works best and if the back canopy thing is zippered on, it's pretty much hidden.

We have a Techno also, and when we take it, I do the same. I also do this on my Volo. I have a Skip Hop saddlebag I take when I have too much stuff, and it holds quite a bit. I have folded the stroller with the saddlebag on without any difficulties.
