Well, sorry you had to read such garbage! FYI, I have as much right to express my opinions as MP and her publishing company.

Shout what from the rooftops? That there are adult women who choose to participate in physical relationships with their fathers? Sorry, but IMO that is sick and degenerate behavior, no matter what the reason. I don't doubt there are people who do this kind of thing, but I sincerely hope it isn't so commonplace that we need a celebrity spokesperson to put a face on the problem.

Mark my words on this. I don't wish MP any harm, but at this point in time, it's obvious that she is her own worst enemy. No good will come to her for airing her filthy laundry for the world to see. I think she did it for money and because she misses receiving public attention. After the money is gone and she's once again a seldom-thought-of celebrity, her regrets will be enormous.

MP is a victim...her father was the peratrator. He abused her. In her mind it was consensual because she was an adult..but I agree with the others and the professionals. He was her father..he was supposed to protect her..but he abused her instead. It is a matter of power...jsut like sexual harrasment. She was abused all those years...she had no power to say no. She was in a constant state of drug abuse to boot. Her wake up call was the pregnancy. In all abuse cases, physical too...you need to hit rock bottom and wake up and see that you need to get out to survive...ask any survivor of sexual or physical abuse.

She is a survivor and I hope she continues to get therapy and to heal and to stay sober. And her coming out with this has been wonderful...plenty of women are calling for help now....and MP did that!!

For those that might have been doubting her.. Denny, a former member of the Mama's and the Papa's told his daughter that he knew it was happening, and was shocked about it. John, MP's father had told Denny. Sad that Denny didn't do anything back then to help MP!

I was watching a news program about this the other night. That woman Nancy Grace? (why doesnt she talk normally instead of shouting) MP half sister does not believe her sibling she also pointed out that MP was happy for her younger half sibling was living alone with a "rapist" instead of getting her father charged and preventing the risk of another young girl being raped. This she didn't do she is a grown woman blaming others for the bad mistakes she has made and I don't believe her as other members of her family have also said they don't believe her. Ths is like the british page 3 model Jorden she has recently claimed that she had been raped years before, the police have tried to find and prosecute this man but she has refused to speak about it saying that she would take the man's name to the grave, yet on the next episode she named him its been censured but it is already known and the man himself contacted the police to deny the charge. This from a woman whose husband left her after pictures of her upper torso popping out of her top and sticking her tongue down another man's throat where blazed in newspapers.

I'd believe anyone before I'd believe Nancy Grace. That woman bends the truth like a pretzel to create whatever sensationalism draws the biggest ratings.

Not trying to be funny but if she is doing this to heal herself maybe Dr. Phil would have been a more appropriate venue.

Since he lost his right to practice psychology after an "inappropriate relationship" with a patient and refused to accept the corrective ethics courses and monitoring required to be reinstated, I'd say he would have been a really, really BAD choice.

Whether it's true or not, I don't know, but Mackenzie DOES claim to have been sober for 10 years before the relapse/arrest last year. Assuming she's roughly 50 now, that's one third of her adult life, which considering her history isn't actually all that bad.
