We will be visiting Disney from the 7th to 28th August from the UK with our children DD (16) who has Asperger's, DS (14) and DS (11) who has ASD. Last time we visited we hired a stroller but this time due to cost we have purchased a Major Buggy to use. As we have a long flight home and also restricted space in the car when we get back I wondered if there was anyone out there who may like to have this buggy after us and would be prepared to make an offer so we can pass it over to save them transporting one over. It is in good condition and has a five point harness and footplate and side pads if a child needs extra support in the buggy. I am not looking to make any money out of this just maybe help someone out who may also have transport issues but could use the buggy.

That is very kind of you and I know there are a couple people around here could use the stroller. Have patience and someone will be posting soon enough. Most Americans are sound asleep right now.

Wow youare so nice, big hugs to you

Laurie
Thank you for your offer as you are going to make someone very happy.

I know MinnieVanMom was/is looking for a stroller for her son. I think she has a trip planned in August/Sept. Maybe you could pm her?

livndisney,

You are so nice to always think of our DS. I really do appreciate it. We are going to rent the Jogger stroller for our Sept trip because it has the suncover.

Funny, I didn't really know what the OP was posting. I had an idea it was a stroller so I googled Major Buggy and got the UK site for Maclaren.:) Stroller/Buggy they are both the same.

I am very interested. My 8 year old has autism and he has gotten so big. I am having trouble getting him into a shopping cart and a regular stroller is to small. Please pm me. Thank you.

I wish you were here a month ago. I would've loved to use this for my brother.

He's got a wheelchair with a very bad design. The seat lays back, but there's nothing between the back and the arm rests, so his elbows kept rubbing against the wheels. I think he got 3 bleeding scratches from it. And of course I never noticed till after it happened.
All of his muscles are tightened (think fetal position), so he can't sit up in a regular wheelchair, and it was nice being able to lay him back some. But that left him exposed to the wheels. It was not the best experience. And when he was younger my mom had an oversized stroller (really comfy), and all wheels were small tubed tires... And I really wish it was still around now. Of course since I don't live with him and Disney is not an often trip for him, it really wasn't in the budget to buy one of those. But I've seen dozens of those in the parks on any given day and they look really nice.
