I've heard of Romano's Macaroni Grill, but I've never eaten there. On my last trip to Orlando, I was going to try Romano's, but after reading the following articles, just a few weeks before my trip, I decided against eating there.
We do too! The bread is awesome! A fresh baked loaf come to your table and they have the olive oil and "stuff" to dip your bread in. I could make a meal out of that alone.
Thanks so much for all your replies! I will put this down as a possiblity for our trip next month. We do have a gift card for Chilis that also included Macaroni Grill so I thought maybe we would use it while we are on vacation.
I'll agree with most everyone else, very good for a chain, head and shoulders above Olive Garden. Also does a good job of feeling like a "nice" restaurant while still remaining incredibly family-friendly. Much better than the Chilli's next door.
We love Macaroni Grill. I always get the Pasta Milano and DH gets the Penne Rustica. The bread is outstanding. In fact, we just ate at our local one last week. Try their dessert ravioli. It's such a great dessert. Vanilla ice cream and ravioli stuffed with chocolate and more chocolate drizzled on top.
