Mac owners..........HELP!

Ok, so I just got a Mac Powerbook G4 about 3 months ago, and I am having a problem with the brightness of the screen. I turned it off the other day and when I turned it back on, it wasn't as bright as it normally is it is like when you don't type for a few minutes and the screen gets dimmer.

Help!! it's driving me crazy, I can bearly see what I'm typing!!! How do I fix this???

Sounds like your light is going out or your powersettings are set to dim it. Try adjusting your power settings.

What does that mean? How do I fix it? Where do I find my power settings?
