Inspired by another thread, which stroller brand do you have? Do you love it? Which model do you have? Convince me to get one over the other if you've tried both. I have a 13 month DS and will be going to WDW and 2 cruises over the next couple of years. I'm looking for something compact and light. My other 2 children are 10 and 14 so I have no need for a double or stand bar in the back.

Please help!

As awesome as most of the Pegs are- nobody has ever called them light!!! The macs really are a great travel stroller. Easy to fold, high weight limit, a dream to steer.

I just bought a Peg Aria for DS (18 mos) and I love it! We used it at WDW a couple of weeks ago and it was great. One of the things I really wanted in a stroller was a snack tray, so that ruled out Maclarens for me. The Aria folds with one hand and it even has a handle for carrying when folded. It was so easy to fold it and bring it onto trams and buses. The basket is a bit small and you can't access it if the seat is reclined, but I just hung my diaper bag on the handle so that wasn't an issue.

If you're looking for something compact and light, go with the Mac. I love my Peg and it's very compact for a full size stroller, but it's not really light and no where near as compact as our Mac. The Mac is great to have as your child gets older and has less need for a stroller. The Peg is great when your child is younger (we still use ours for our 3 year old). We will be bringing both the Peg and Mac on our trip in September. Our oldest is 5 and very tall for her age and she'll be riding in the Mac.

My wife and I just had our third child, so we looked into a bunch of twin strollers. We found the Phil & Ted's Sport stroller was the perfect thing for us. It's great as a single stroller, and it has a very quick and easy add-on that converts it into the coolest double stroller around. They're definitely pricey (we paid about $400 for the stroller and the doubles kit), but we've been really impressed by the mobility of the stroller, it's comfort for the kids, and the innovation of the doubles kit.

If you're looking for a good stroller for a park/cruise, I think the Phil & Ted's is one to consider.

I have a Mac Quest that I got just for WDW trips about 3 years ago and I still LOVE it!

We have a Peg Aria. We got it in '05 when we adopted our middle son (then 2 yo). We took it to WDW and everywhere else. We have almost run it into the ground.

What I love - fairly lightweight (I think 10-12 pounds?), the basket - easy to access & large, reclines fully, folds easily, the snack tray, and I can put a bag on the handles and it won't tip when the child get out.

What I really dislike - it doesn't turn well, esp. with more weight in it. I mean it's really very hard to steer at times - which can be a huge pain in the parks. You also have to steer with two hands.

We also have a Mac Techno XL. We only recently got it for our trip this fall as our middle son (now 5 yo)will need a stroller in the parks.

What I love- It turns on a dime, I can steer it with one hand, it folds compactly for such a big stroller, it holds up to 65 pounds, and both little ones can climb in and out by themselves (no snack tray).

What I dislike - Access to the basket - ugh, it is such a pain (it's a good place to put those rain ponchos, etc. that you don't need all the time). This specific Mac is also kinda heavy at 17 pounds, but I know the Volo and other Macs are very light. Also you can't leave any heavy bags on the handles or the stroller tips when the child get out.

We'll be taking both strollers when we go in October. Both are good in different situations.

Can you go to a Babies R Us and test drive both of them? That might help you decide. I guess it depends if you want something really easy to drive (Macs) or the features of a full-size stroller (Pegs). Sorry I may have been more confusing than helpful.
