2 1/2 years ago I purchased an iPhone and a HP laptop at about the same time. The HP had problems since the second month. It has had to be sent away for service twice, for a week each time. Since I run a small home based internet business, this hurt double financially, since I had to keep my business afloat while it was gone off my iPhone.
By coincidence, one week both items had minor problems. I called HP with my small issue and their customer service ended up walking me through trouble shooting that ended in my computer not being able to turn on.
I went to the Genius Bar with my iPhone. They apologized about my problem and handed me a new phone at no charge.
My next computer will be an Apple based upon their spectacular customer service.
