Mac and cheese in a tortilla bowl

I have never heard of this being available anywhere at Disneyland.

This sounds a lot like sarcasm with the long discussion on clam chowder in a bread bowl, along with the discussion of certain types of mac and cheese going off the menu at DL.

No, it has nothing to do with the soup bread bowl discussions. When I was on the DCL in September, they served the kids mac and cheese in a tortilla bowl. Then in October, I saw them at Disneyland/DCA, and I just can't remember where I saw them. I am thinking it was at Flo's V8 Cafe. It was a serious question, and was hoping that someone could help me out.

Cool. There was such a long and impassioned discussion on the clam chowder in a bread bowl and the loss of the 4-cheese mac and cheese that I thought it could have been a joke.

13 posts is long?

And it's not OK to have feelings about the ONE good thing from the menu, the ONE thing on the menu for vegetarians, being taken away? OK wait, the chowder is veggie, but it's also *spicy*, which doesn't suit when the mouth wanted the 4 cheese veggie gratin.

For some reason, wdwinfo and allears have not updated their menus since October, and it's causing problems for those of us who liked things from their old menu and now there is NOTHING for them, and we're finding out at the restaurant.

And, unfortunately, the places that have things that DH and I like and can eat have NOTHING for our son. Awesome fabulous SUPER fun to feed us all at Disneyland now! (Not to mention that in October when they still had the mickey plates they said we could feel free to take the tray over to Hungry Bear while the adults ate....now with the heavy ceramic plates it's not so possible)

That said, I have never heard of mac and cheese in a tortilla bowl, and I have a mac and cheese fanatic in my touring group, LOL. And I don't remember *anything* being in a tortilla bowl.

If you ever find out, be sure to post back!

Not sure where at DL/CA, but they served Mac and Cheese in a tortilla bowl on our Disney cruise, the first and only time I've seen it served that way. It seems reasonable, then, that they might do the same at the parks somewhere.

Hope you find what you're looking for.

I've never seen mac & cheese in a tortilla bowl anywhere at either park. It may be new, I was there last in August.

I think the gratin was gone before that. I sent my sister to pick it up in September (while I hit the stage door for other members of our group), and they didn't have it then (but did make her feel like a second-class citizen for asking for a to-go container). They did have a mac & cheese kids' meal in a Mickey plate then.
