He is well spoken and may be a nice person. However, he is a rather ineffective governor. Maybe if he stayed in the state long enough to see what is really going on, it might be different. He really needs to address the issue of all the jobs leaving the state and all the people who cannot get jobs here leaving the state.
What he/she said!
I would love the chance to sit down and have dinner with him, but I'm not so sure he'd want to have dinner with me. And I suspect that I would leave the table feeling very unsatisfied.
I agree that he's been incredibly ineffective.
My family has been in Massachusetts since the Mayflower landed, and now we can't afford to live here. That just seems sad to me. People are leaving this state faster than any other state in the country, and all since he's been Governor.
The education system in the state has decreased steadily since he's been in office.
And while we can say that he didn't directly cause these problems, instead of staying here working to make them better and improve the state, he's traveling the country badmouthing us and campaigning for President. And the only thing he's actively participated in within the state legislature is in his attempts to prevent people who love each other from marrying.
Whether you agree with gay marriage or not, that should not be his primary focus in this state. And yet that's about the only thing that he is actively fighting.
I guess I should stop right here before I really get worked up and take this thread in a whole other direction.
Bottom line - I don't like the guy, can't wait until his term is over and I hope that he never gets elected President.
