Hi!
We have done Disney a number of times and have used the Magical Express a number of times, without any problems. The issue is that I have a non-Disney loving spouse, and no matter the line, he instantly gets cranky waiting for ME. I am thinking of paying for a 1 way shuttle (town car) from the airport to CBR, and then just riding the ME on the return trip. (He always has fun, and keeps comming back:thumbsup2) Is that allowed? I didn't know if I don't check in upon arrival if I am allowed to use ME on the way back. Any experience with this? TIA!

I think that is ok, but won't he get cranky waiting for your luggage at baggage claim? I have waited 30-45 minutes there before.

You can just sign up for ME for your return trip. If you have already signed up for ME, just call them to let them know you will only be using it on your return trip. It is not an all or nothing service.

It won't be an issue using DME for just your return ride. You can wait to book it until you get to WDW. I would set it up when you first checkin at the resort. Otherwise, you tend to forget about it until the very last minute!!
I will say though, my dh would rather stand in the DME bus line than wait for luggage at baggage claim!! He gets so annoyed with all the pushing and shoving there.

We always pack light and do carry on's. Years ago when we went on a cruise, my then BF (now DH) was planning on proposing. He kept the ring with him on the plane, but when we picked up our bags at the airport he stuck in his bag before we got on the ship. We couldn't figure out why he was so uptight when everyone else's bags made it, and 6 hours later his was still not there :lmao:
We were like "have fun...we are on vacation, and everything is replaceable." Plus he had some stuff to wear in my suitcase But he was really upset. After the fact we all realized why!:cloud9: Needless to say we all do carry on now!

I have never found waiting at the baggage claim a problem. By the time that we go to the bathroom once we get off the plane, walk to the baggage claim, meet up with our driver, the bags are usually coming down the belts....and then just a short walk and into an air conditioned towncar!!! No lines, no fuss, no muss and a relaxing ride ;). Oh....and if there is any problem with bags not making it, we find out right at the airport before we head to Disney.
