Lynx airline shutting down

I just read on Facebook that Lynx airlines is shutting down as of Monday. Googled it and it is all over the news.

That’s too bad as sadly it will affect all those who work for the airline plus many with March Break plans.

Yup just spent 3 hours rebooking a trip 18 days away. Now flying out of Buffalo as that's the best I could do. Not the greatest news.

Yep. Friend messaged me this morning and told me they were impacted. They managed to get reasonably priced flights from Buffalo but now have a connection with two kids under 8. Going to make their airport time a little more stressful. Buffalo was around 400$ Toronto with connection was around 650. Direct from Pearson was into the thousands.

WestJet is offering 25% off all non-stop routes flown by Lynx until October 22, and return flights capped at $250 for routes returning to Canada until February 29.
