Okay out there in internet land! I need your help! I have 80 days until we go back to WDW and I have gained weight!! I love to take pictures and do trip reports, but right now I don’t want to show myself to anyone. I’ve had to change jobs and been under a lot of stress and I’ve just been out of control with my eating!
So with your help, I’d like to make some changes and be accountable to you, my imaginary friends. Here are my stats.

What I weigh now: 159
What I want to weigh: 135

My plan:
Drink 64 oz. of water a day
Walk on my treadmill one hour at least 5 times a week (any good TV taping ideas?)
Do my arm exercise three times a week. (sleeveless shirts you know)
Give up bread and sugary sweets (this will be the hardest!)
Try to get 8 hours of sleep every night. (Not enough sleep=sugar and caffeine to stay awake, you get the picture)
Weighin on Sundays
Check in here every day for a progress report.

Ou family almost always goes to a waterpark at WDW and I never go because I don’t want to be seen in a swimsuit. This year I want to go!!

So what do you think? I’ve got ten weeks. I really want to look my best and feel great again! Will you help me? I’ll take any tips and comments!!
Thanks!!

Hi Lynn -

Welcome!

I'm all about the tv when I work out with the treadmill. For me almost any sporting event will do, so if you like a sporting event tape that. It's amazing how fast the time goes on the treadmill when you work out to a hockey period. The other option is reality tv, yes, sad to say reality tv goes pretty quick as well because you are always waiting for the person to get voted or kicked off and what you watch are the events leading up to it!

These boards are a great place for support, I started a journal over a month ago and it does good to write things down.

Thanks for the kind words! Right now I'm taping General Hospital :) and stiff like Biggest Loser and You are what you eat.
It did help to think about what I might have to write down tonight.;) Thanks for the reply.

79 days to go....

Here is how I did today.

60 ounces of water (but I'm not really done)
1 hour of the treadmill with my arm exercises.
Seven hours of sleep
What I ate:
B-1/2 cup of granola, 1/2 banana and lowfat yogurt
S- dehydrated apple slices, two strawberries.
L- lean pocket and 100 calorie oreo packet
S- kashi bar
D- Lean pocket with small salad

No Pepsi!!

The hardest thing was when our general manager works, he buys breakfast. Today he brought angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. It was so hard because it looked soooo good and he is always disappointed when you don't eat. I was strong and only ate a couple berries. Yeah me!!

I think my first day was pretty good. I can't believe I made it with out Pepsi!!:cool1:

78......

I'm having trouble keeping up with how much water I drink. It was about 80 oz. by my reckoning.
I only did 45 minutes on the treadmill this morning, because my hip bothered me all day yesterday so that is my new daily goal.
day off from arm exercises.
7 hours of sleep (gotta work on it.)
So here is what I ate
B-princess breakfast (yogurt with granola and banana)
S-sliced apple
L-lean pocket and 100 calorie oreo
S- protein water (pink lemonade, very good!)
D- cup of cheerios with milk and a banana, spoonful of banana bread batter

I am about to jump out of my skin for a Pepsi about now. That's usually what I drink while I bake to keep from eating (doesn't really work). I'm getting tired of just water. The protein mix was good but expensive, so I need to save it for emergencies.

I guess I'm doing OK, but man, I need a Pepsi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
