Lynne Thigpen has died

Actress Lynne Thigpen, age 54, died suddenly in her home last night according to E!Online. She was currently on "the District", but she had done much more--most memorably for me, she was on the PBS show "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" and was the voice of the DJ in "The Warriors".
If you don't know the name, you would know her if you saw her.

I remember her most from All My Children! She played Grace Keefer and was excellent in the role! How sad, my kids love Luna from Bear in the Big Blue House!

I remember her from "Carmen Sandiego" and from "All My Children." I can't remember the name of her character there....just remember that she was someone's aunt. Her acting talent will be missed.

We used to love watching "The Chief" on Carmen San Diego along with Rockapella. I wonder why this show is not on anymore?

So Sad.. yes, she was Luna, and was also on LA Law, A movie called Stand by Me, and also in the movie Godspell... (that is usually playing on some Directv station most of the time)
