Lynn... I have to share this with you because I know you willappreciate it since you had your magical picture moment with all of the characters. My husband and I recently got back from WDW, we were there the last week of March, and we were chosen to be the Magic Kingdom Grand Marshals on our first day . We were chosen Sunday, March 22 and it was so amazing! I have always wondered how the families get chosen and now I know you just have to be at the right place at the right time. We were in City Hall. I am sorry I am posting this on your TR, but I didn't know any other way to make sure you would see it. Here are a few pictures from our wonderful experience:

This TR was wonderful and I can't wait for the next one!!! I hate the rain too. We didn't get any in December (Well it did rain at the AK for about 3 minutes, just barely) or March! It was perfect!

Love the ending of your report! We went to design a tee when we were there and jan and had a lot of fun making our own tee shirts! Go earlier in the day if at all possible...it was a zoo in there in the evening time. Also it ensures you'll get your shirt that day...they were so busy that they weren't going to have our shirts done that night and we had to have them sent to the gift shop at AKL for us to pick up during the week. I can't wait to hear about your may trip and staying at akl thats our fave place!

I wanted to let you know that I have been following your TR of your wedding and this new one as well. I think that you and your husband's enthusiasm while you are vacationing at WDW is infectious. I recently went to POFQ during ESPN Weekend with my husband and son. We had a wonderful time. I could see from a few of your pics that your husband looks to be a Philly sports fan. If I am correct, he'd have a blast!! This past year (2/27-3/1) Brian Westbrook from the Eagles and quite a few Phillies players were there. Crowds were light and the weather was a bit chilly but at the time, there was a blizzard in Philly so there was really no cause for complaint. You guys should check it out sometime!

Also, am I correct in assuming that you haven't seen the American Idol attraction yet? If not, I won't go into much detail so as not to ruin it for you, but it's a very fun attraction! Be sure to get there as soon as the show begins so you don't miss the warm up/explination of the show. It's hilarious!
I decided to audition but sadly, I didn't make the cut. Oh well, at least I can forever say I auditioned for American Idol!

We also had shirts made at Design-A-Tee. We made 15th Anniversary shirts with Mickey and Minnie on them..fun, fun, fun!

Sorry this is so long but I thought I'd pass along a little of the things we did on our last trip!

Hi!! Yeah we are Phillies and Eagles fans lol. Phils did awful last night though That is so cool. I met Brian Westbrook before, I love him to death. He is such a nice guy.

No we have not seen AIE yet. Can't wait to check it out!! Aww that stinks you didn't make it.

I just finished reading your entire TR start to finish! We were there the same timeframe in '07 for our honeymoon, and I agree about the weather. It rained probably every single day we were there! But we were usually able to escape it in a show or on a ride, and it would have finished by the time we got out. But that did make for some VERY humid & overcast days.

Tim reminds me so much of my DH! What is it with guys and Donald?? Donald is Dustin's favorite too, and he has the same "Chicks Dig Me" shirt! I showed him the picture of all of Tim's Donald pins, and...well, now I think I may have started something, since he has been looking for a new hobby!
