Hello everyone!!!! Well we leave 3 weeks from tomorrow and were really excited for this trip!! So I thought I would share our plans with you. This is my first PTR so I hope you all enjoy it. Everything is pretty much set.

My husband Tim and I were just married in Disney May 7th! We had a gorgeous wedding, Disney did a wonderful job. Now when you have your wedding in Disney you get a pair of APs so that was one excuse for us to do another trip this year...so as soon as we came back from our honeymoon I called and booked a week at POP.

Now the past two trips to Disney we looked into purchasing DVC..well before we went away on our honeymoon my mom was talking to a friend of hers at work and told them where we were getting married and how much we love disney and how we go every year. Well turns out my mom's friend's brother works for DVC...he is a guide for DVC so the friend told his brother about us and we were supposed to meet up with him on the honeymoon but never got around to it. We decided we would check it out when we went down in Oct.

So I book Pop and about a couple weeks later Tim and I were talking about DVC and I get a phone call. I notice it is a 407 area code so I'm like OOOH this is Orlando calling me. I answer and it's Steven Fisher our DVC guide!!!!!! I was like no way we were just talking about you. We talked and I was sold. A couple weeks after that we were DVC owners. When we bought they were running a promotion where they match your points so we got 160 developer points we could use only at SSR so we ditched Pop( I was kind of sad I wanted to try POP) and booked a 1 beroom villa at SSR.

Ok here are the plans.

We are going Oct 1-8 staying at SSR and my BIL Russ and his GF Erin are coming with us. We are on the disney dining plan and are going to MNSSHP and WOO HOO food and wine festival!!! Can't wait!

We leave early wednesday morning on Oct 1 flying out of Philly and should be in Orlando by 9:30, we love getting into Disney early.

Here are our ADRS.

Oct 1- Ohanas dinner!! This is a must do now, we loved it there in May
Oct 2- Kona Cafe dinner, our first time
Oct 3- Tutto Italia dinner, second time one of my fav
Oct 4- Sci Fi dinner, first time, I'm really looking forward to this one. It sounds fun.
Oct 5- Chef Mickey's breakfast ,first time can't wait
Oct 6- Boma breakfast, I'm also very excited to eat here!!
Oct 7- Chefs de France, first time

Plans.

Oct 1- It is tradition to go to MK first day! I never get sick of it. We will check in check out SSR and head over to MK and have lunch at my favorite, Cosmic Rays. Our ADR is at 7:15 so after dinner I plan on watching Wishes from the Poly beach. We love watching them from there. Maybe get a drink at the pool bar before getting settled on the beach.

Oct 2- I plan on going to AK for rope drop, hang out there for a little maybe have an early lunch at Flame Tree..head back to SSR and get ready for dinner and then head over to MNSSHP. We are sooo excited for this. Now I'm going to dress up but need your help deciding who to dress up as lol.

Oct 3- Epcot day I think we are going to go early and have breakfast at Sunshine Seaons, another favorite CS!! We don't have dinner till 4:45 so I want to take my time in Future World then head over to WS, maybe hit up some F&W stands. After dinner I'm also thinking about heading over to the Beach Club and going to Beaches & Cream for some ice cream( do they have a window you can order out of or do we have to eat inside??) then head back to Epcot for evening EMH.

Oct 4- DHS! We will be heading over early for morning EMH and going straight to TSM (we LOVE that ride, got to try it out in May for an AP preview) and then grab a FP for later. We don't have dinner until 5 so we have plenty of time to just do whatever we feel until then..after dinner Fantasmic will be at 7 so we will head over there and get in line. This will be an early night going back to the resort so maybe I will hop in the pool when we get back. I love swimming at night.

Oct 5- Heading over to the Contemporary for Chef Mickeys breakfast. We are so excited for this breakfast. Tim loves Donald Duck so I know he will love seeing him and I think Donald is too cute with his chef hat . I want to check out Bay Lake Tower construction after breakfast WOO HOO found out it will be a DVC resort. Very cool! After that we will do whatever maybe head to DTD do some shopping hang at the resort then DHS that night for evening EMH. Gotta love TOT at night!!! SO much fun.

Oct 6- Heading over to AKL to have breakfast at Boma...thrilled to be trying it and thrilled to check out the resort!!! This is the day I want to do the whole food and wine festival. It will be a monday so hopefully not that crowded.

Oct 7- Pretty much whatever we want to do we don't have dinner at chefs until 6 so whatever happens before that happens.

So that is our plans!!!! Can't wait!! Tim and I are so blessed and thankful that we are fortunate enough to enjoy Disney as much as we do. I never take a trip for granted.

we are going the same time as you! Staying at POP though.

Congrats on the DVC. We almost bought that a few years ago but backed out since I'm a SAHM. I'll go back to work soon and my motivation will be DVC. I cant wait to hear about your plans!

We are addicted..it really is insane Once you buy one you just can't stop lol.

Ok Tim is obsessed with Donald Duck...on our honeymoon he started going crazy collecting only Donald pins. He went down with maybe 5 and ended up leaving with 50 somthing pins. After we came home the pin trading obsession continued and he collected more from ebay. Now he has 71!

Here are his laynards and yes he will wear all 3. He got them ready last night lol.

He also has over 100 pins he bought on ebay to trade..the 4 tink pins in the box are all I have LOL.

I'm going to be trading for some Ariel pins..trying to be like Tim and collect all Ariel instead of Donald..I will be lucky to come close to that LOL.

So you will see a lot of pin trading in our TR.

You will love Boma for breakfast, it's yummy. Try the African Frunch drink, it's a mixture of fruit juices. Congrats on your DVC membership, I wish we could afford it...maybe some day.

Ok so I'm so stressing over this LOL!! I really want to be Ariel but I know there will be a ton of Ariel's so I wanted to try and be something different.

here is the only Ariel costume I could fins that is Disney friendly..I don't really care for the extra material on the hips..Ariel doesn't have that LOL.

So what is something original...I came across Darla from Finding Nemo

I have the hair and braces...just got to find some crazy head gear or make it some how LOL!!!! I can make that shirt it would be so easy, I'm thinking of asking one of the disers on the Disign board to make the "rock & Roll" disign for me and just iron it on a purple shirt. Not sure if I can do a sweater, may be too hot for a sweater. I would also walk around with a bag of water with a fake nemo fish in the bag LOL!!!

So what you all think? Go as pretty Ariel or crazy Darla LOL.

Ok so I'm sure some of you who have read my wedding TR remember this picture.

Another Diser had mentioned to me that it would be cool, I agree, to get a picture frame signature matte and have each one of those characters sign the matte then frame the picture!! Thank you so much to whoever gave me that idea. I plan on bringing the 4x6 picture to show the CM's so they know why some crazy girl is having the characters sign a matte lol.

Here is the story behind the picture for those of you who don't know how this happened...it was our biggest pixie dust of all time

This is the awesome CM Sonny who made this happen!!! I sent an email to Disney along with the pictures and they called me back and said that Sonny would get rocoginition for this!

Tim and I love the CMs we have so many conversations with them so in my TR you will probably see random pics of us with the CMs LOL.

Here is a lovely couple we met one night at the PPP and saw them again on Mickeys toon town tent. The second time we ran into them Tim looked at their name tags and noticed that they were from the same town..so Tim asked hey do you guys know each other. They say yeah we live together..were married!!! They are too cute! I'm hoping to spot them again so that I can give them this picture, yeah I will carry the pic in my purse until I find them lol.

ok on with the story...

It was sunday may 11th and we went to studios early and while I was watching the HSM show Tim was under the hat looking at the pins and a CM(character handler) noticed his just married pin and said congrats..then Tim asked if Donald was coming out for a meet and great. The CM,his name was Sonny(best man ever),asked the people over his earpiece if he knew if Donald was coming out and what time..they said not today and then Sonny asked tim if he would like to meet any other characters,Tim said Chip and Dale and Sonny said ok meet me at the fountain in front of the Great Movie ride at 10:55 and we will do a personal meet and greet!!!

Tim ran over to me and told me what just happened,I was like that is so nice of him....anyway we go back at the time he said and we did our picture then Sonny said ok meet us back here at 4:55 and we will do a personal Donald Duck meet and greet he will be out then



Well we get back to The Great Movie Ride and some of the characters were walking back into the door near the fountain near the great movie ride after doing some meet and greets and Sonny comes by and says give me 5 mins I'll be back out.

Well we wait and then the characters all come out again making thier way back to the hat and all of a sudden they start lining up,we were video taping at the time so this is all on video,and Sonny says we are going to do a group shot hop in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I start freaking ouT!!!!!!!! I was like are you kidding me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the other Cm recorded it for us and the video is amazing..

SO this should be a fun mission of mine.

I think you should be Ariel for MNSSHP! It's true Ariel is popular but an adult other than you (who is so obviously meant to be Ariel!) would have a hard time pulling off that costume. I like the costume you posted. (I also like the Darla idea so I'm really no help at all )

I will not miss the parade and fireworks. I actually have to plan out what we are going to do for the party. Where we are going to start and which characters to meet first and do we go to the first or second parade?? I have to work on that.

I love your costume ideas. The Ariel will look great, but the Darla idea is so cute. It's such a unique idea. Maybe Tim could just wear a Finding Nemo shirt or something simple like that. You can arrange for one of the personal photo shoots at the resort. There are plenty of threads on this topic (if you can get the search function to work!!!) SSR is one of the recently added resorts available for the photo sessions. If you prepurchase the CD it is a 25 dollar fee for the photo session, Ive read that the prices will be going up soon so you might want to do it now while its still a reasonable price. My sister just came back last week from a photo session at the Poly, it turned out great. SSR would be beatiful, the grounds there are so nice! You could get some really great shots... Id look into it!

I'm following you over here from your wedding TR! O.K., I know that most people say you should dress up like Ariel, and you would make a beautiful Ariel, but I think that Darla is frickin hilarious! Of course it's your choice, but I'm voting for Darla.
I'm so jealous about DVC. I want to own so bad, but it's not in the pocket book right now. I'm looking forward to following along your PTR
