Lyndsee's special wish pre trip report!!christmas 09 PTR

Welcome all to my first trip report. My name is Stan and I will be your guide on our wish trip for lyndsee. I have been married to aimee for 15 years and we have 3 great kids Tyler 11 Hailey 9 and Lyndsee 5. Tyler is our oldest and seems to be getting older everyday. He's into playing football and Playstation and of course WDW. Hailey is in the middle and loves art and her computer. She does great in school and loves it. Not that Tyler doesn't she just does it better. Last but not least we have Lyndsee. She just started kindergarten this year and loves to goto school. She is very excited about her upcoming wish trip. My wife aimee works at the school in the special ed department and I work for the state of Indiana as a correctional officer.

Now a little about Lyndsee. Lyndsee was diagnosed on October 3, 2005 with an ependymoma brain tumor. on october 5, 2005 she had a 17 hour surgery to remove the tumor and it was succsessful. She then spent approx a month in Dayton children's hospital and then transferred to Cincnnati Children's hospital for 33 radiation treatments and intense rehab. Lyndsee got to come home on December 23, 2005. Lyndsee just had her four year scan in October and everything is still looking great. Lyndsee has some nerve damage on the right side of her face and she is deaf in her right ear. You can tell a little in her smile, but it's a smile that we are very thankful for.

Now Our plans as of now are to leave Dec 26 @ 8:05 A.M. and arrive @ 10:05we are planning on spending the day at GKTW and getting settled in. Day 2 we are going to sea world. Day 3 Universal. Day4 Animal kingdom and MGM. Day 5 universal. Day 6 magic Kingdom. On Jan 1 we move into Wilderness Lodge and planning on going to epcot. Jan 2 going to the beach and the last day going to Downtown Disney.

Hello What a beautiful family! We're a wish trip family also, so I now how special it is. Not sure if you've seen it, but there's a whole thread for wish trippers over on the community boards Wish Trippers Unite! Most of us over there are either planning a wish trip or have been on one. Feel free to stop in, Maroo is veeeeery helpful with advice and planning, and the rest of us try to be as well
