Luxury Car Rentals

Hello!

I've searched and haven't been able to find quite what I'm looking for...we're going down to WDW/US for our honeymoon goodvibes) in October, and DF would really love to rent a convertible (as we'll be staying off property for a portion of our stay). I'm hoping to surprise him with a really great car for a day or two, but I'm not sure where to find rentals for those types of cars? Any tips? TIA!

The mainstream car rental companies, such as National Car Rental, have some convertibles in their fleets at MCO. For example, when you choose your car class on the National Car Rental website, you should see "Convertible, Ford Mustang of similar."

You are likely to pay MUCH, MUCH MORE than for a typical Midsize or Fullsize. But I guess it's worth it to some people, which is why the car rental companies have them.

Also, although you've titled this thread "Luxury Car Rentals," be aware the Convertible is a different car class than Luxury. If you book Luxury, your car is very unlikely to be a convertible.

One year when we were going to Universal, my husband was hot to rent a convertable, until he saw the price! He just couldnt pull the trigger! It was triple the amount of a regular car.

Out of curiosity, I checked on Priceline, and really its not as bad as I thought. If you scroll down the car types, there is a category for both luxury and convertables. Go for it!
