I have been reading your PJ today and you have some many neat things for the wedding and attendants. :thumbsup2

Where do you find all of these things?? Some can be used for father's day and mother's day gifts also.

My husband and I will be married for 15 years this year and it is our 4th trip to Disney as a family. We had a few together before we were married. I have wanted to do a vow renewal there for so long :) :)

As I keep reading I'm sure I'll come up with all kinds of questions. :goodvibes

Thanks, I found most of my stuff on ebay or theknot.com. There were some other places too and I've listed some websites throughout my PJ but to tell you the truth I can't really remember where some of the stuff came from! lol!

I finally decided to sit down with print shop and make up some of these tags I've been putting off. Let me know what you think.

The first thing I made was our tags for the welcome bags. I stole the rhyme from someone else (I can't remember who...I'm such a thief and I'm sorry. A BIG thank you though!! ). Here's the front:

welcomecard.jpg

The back will have whomever's name the bag belongs to (There is no Smith family, lol):

welcomecard2-1.jpg

I also made labels for my favor boxes (More word thieving here). They contain glass slippers with Jordan Almonds. Originally I came up with this:

favorlabel.jpg

But this was too large so I tried my hand at a monogram and came up with this:

favorlabel2.jpg

I like how it turned out. The boxes will have these tags attached to the ribbon:

So far I'm happy...some of the stuff is pretty plain and knowing me, I'll go back a million times and "fix" it. I still have to work on the playbill style program I started but I just have so many ideas swimming through my head I don't even know what to do next, lol!! Here's a pic of the cover (which I'm sure I'll alter) for those of you who missed it last time I posted it.

WeddingPlaybill.jpg

I still have to finish it and make my welcome packets and wedding announcements, but after that I'm done!! Let's see is I can get it all finished by the end of July. The kids will be gone for 3 weeks so I should have plenty of time...woohoo! :cool1:

Love everything you have done! :) we have the same welcome bag tag design.

Hi Diane, what a great PJ!

We are looking at a Disney wedding in a couple of years and I;ve got some great ideas after reading yours.

I love everything you've chosen - the styles, colours, gift bags etc. It will all look fantastic!

There's so much more choice in the States than in the UK, but even with postage to the UK (if you can find a supplier that will ship here) the prices are so much better too. I'm definitely going to be shopping around. We are going to have a small wedding and I hadn't thought of gift bags!

I haven't had a chance to catch up on your planning journal recently, everything looks great. Those gift bags are a really great idea, and hooray for staying on budget with them! NOT an easy feat! Also, the tags and that "playbill" program are absolutely adorable. It's going to be such a beautiful wedding! Can't wait to hear more! :goodvibes

Love everything you have done! :) we have the same wel***e bag tag design.

Thanks...I'm an avid follower of your PJ and can't believe I didn't notice that! I did, however, notice that our DF's picked out the same tux...but then mine went and picked out something different. I liked his first choice better...your DF has nice taste...he did pick you, after all! ;)

I wish I were as organized as you! I have so many ideas tossing around in my head, I'm having a hard time putting them down on paper!

Everything you have done is absolutely beautiful! Our dresses are really similar. I just love the color scheme.

It took me a while to get organized...I had stuff written down everywhere and about a billion links and pics saved to my computer. I finally sat down with a glass (well, more like a bottle, lol) of wine one night and made folders on my pc and in my favorites for everything and also got a paper organizer that has all of my important information and folders with my contracts as well as a to-do list! It hlped so much and I'm not losing my mind anymore!

I love your dress...it was the first one I considered before I found mine...your I picked the same flower girl dress too and now I really wish I stayed with it because it's soooo beautiful! :goodvibes
Diane!

Those look great! I wish I could do stuff like that!

Thanks...and trust me, if I can....you can too! :thumbsup2

Thank you so much...I have to admit that I just went over budget on my gift bags because I found these cute mickey drawstring backbags for everyone...oops! ;) I'm happy with everything I've picked out so far (I better be, right?) I can't wait till it all comes together!

I'm so happy that you get some ideas from me! I have to admit that a lot of my ideas came from the ladies right here...this board is a great resource for DFTW! I wouldn't know what I would've done without it!! Good luck with your planning and thank you for the compliment!!

Aw thanks Diane. My DF ended up going with a different tux too. He decided he wanted something more traditional.

I finally got the urge to start putting some of this stuff together. I made a "practice" favor box and ironed on the adult's welcome bag graphics. Here's some (not-so-good) pics with my camera phone for now. Next I'm working on the kids welcome bags and t-shirts!! :cool1:

favor boxes...(the ribbon says "Happily Ever After")

And the bags...

More to come...eventually...;)

hey Diane,

looks great!! :thumbsup2 thought you'd like to know, I got my order from theknot.com today!! I was definitely excited to finally get a look at all our personalized stuff! more boxes to add to the crowd!! I feel so guilty, you're making samples already and I haven't really had the time to play and get everything together. I might be tempted to take some photos this weekend and get on the ball :goodvibes

and I'm just dumbfounded - we stopped tonight just to "look" at tuxes for my sweetie...I figured we would be buying a suit because we need it for the wedding and the luncheon - ergo 5 days or so. silly me thought it would cost a fortune to rent him something :rotfl2: right!! 12 minutes ( I joke not)! and $120 later, he has a beautiful black tux (with tails) rented for the whole week!! I don't think I bought anything or made any decisions about our wedding in 12 minutes! :rotfl:

oh well, glad to see one of us brides ( actually - most of you)! has their act together!!

Michelle :cloud9:

Diane, the bags are so pretty! you've gotten so much done already.

Michelle- glad your df got his tux!

I thought I should share w/ you ladies- My df will wear a seersucker suit that we got on sale in Macy's. Originally it was $400 all together, but we got it for $120 on sale!!! the 2 other gm's got them as well. Carolyn Allen's said they would steam them each for $15- so we can just fold them in the luggage and not even worry about them getting wrinkled- yaye!

Haven't had much of a chance to keep up with your pj recently Diane as I am staying at my parents house whilst they are on vacation and they don't have internet access  but just to say everything looks stunning as usual. You are putting me to shame

Woohoo about the tux!! What a great deal! :cool1: We haven't even begun to think about those here...DF keeps saying...I'll do it in October. I guess that's the magical month in his head...haha! How do you like your stuff from the knot? At first a few of my items dissapointed me. I think it's because of the font I chose but for the price it was an outstanding deal so I'm getting over it! :goodvibes So where are those photos??? ;)

Diane, the bags are so pretty! you've gotten so much done already.
Thanks...still plenty more to do but I'm having surgery on monday so I'll be laid up for a week with nothing to do but play on my computer so I hope to take careof designing everything else. The kids are also gone for three weeks so I should have plenty of down time...ahhhhh. But boy am I gonna miss them!

Thanks so much Sharon...I can't wait to see how your planning is getting along. You're stuff is always so fabulous! :goodvibes

We're having a dessert party!!!! :cool1:  I am so excited! I finally got DF to agree to an Illuminations Dessert Party. He wants to change hotels --from GF to POR-- though to save the money for it (but don't worry, I'm still working him ;) ). Anyway...we've reserved the Morocco terrace where we will be serving the For The Child in You dessert package with a chocolate fondue add on. Since Joe proposed to me after a night at the Melting Pot (a fondue style restaurant)...the fondue add on was a must!!!! I'll also be surprising Joe with his Groom's cake there as well as his tickets to the football game. Ooohhhh....I just thought of something. Maybe I can have the CM's put out one extra dish with a lid out and I can put the tickets in it and present it to Joe and one more "sweet" surprise! I'm starting to not like the idea of the tickets on the cake. I think I'd rather it just look like a football field and decorated with buttercream instead of fondant. I just feel he'd appreciate it more if it actually tastes good (He hates fondant, lol). Anyway...I'm just rambling on...that's it for now...:rotfl:

just an idea, why don't you see if you can get a gag football ( one that splits open to put the tickets inside) and put that on the covered dish for him? something along those lines would be cool.... or some kind of gadget or something he would take to the game and put the tickets inside to surprise him.... sorry , only on my first cup of coffee and the boss is in a meeting so as you can see, I'm working hard ! :rotfl: photos - this weekend!
