Bwaahahahahah! Nice ditty, there!

I have nothing to report - I forgot to take a picture of our announcements... again.... or our Really Stern Transportation Newsletter. Maybe I can post those tomorrow!

In the meantime, I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted now that we've shipped the ceremony and reception items, the dress, our mouse ear favors, the fake bouquet, my fascinators, and our announcements off to our hotel.

The thing I feel like I'm neglecting now is planning the honeymoon - my poor little PassPorter is half empty! I've been planning this darn wedding so much that I've almost forgotten the other component - a two-week stay at WDW, which many people could spend a year planning!

At least I have a bazillion ADRs... whew! :cutie:

I feel like this weekend will be huge for finishing stuff up. I'm shipping a bunch of stuff Monday! I'm sure I'll feel the same relief as you mixed with panic b/c I didn't ship it sooner. :rotfl:

Can you believe there have been times durning this wedding planning that I've FORGOT that we're going to be AT DISNEY!!! Crazy. That in of itself is enough to calm and center me! And until our cruise info showed up yesterday, I kinda forgot that we had that to look forward to too!

So what are all your ADRs?... so I can stalk you. NOT REALLY. I travel w/ a bunch of cheap-o's and I'm prolly going to be stuck eating at FW at the motor home! hmpf.

TOTALLY - I did the same thing! I mean, the wedding day is the pinnacle of my entire life, right, so I don't really need to think about anything after that :rotfl:

Hee hee! Since I've only been to WDW once and my parents didn't know anything about ADRs at the time, we are doing every sit-down place I've ever wanted to try! In chronological order starting with Tuesday, they are: Flying Fish, CRT, Le Cellier, California Grill, Bistro de Paris, Yak & Yeti, Jiko, Sci-Fi Dine-In, Brown Derby, Artist Point, Coral Reef, San Angel Inn, Jiko again for Valentine's Day, and Citricos. (burp!)

Shall I add Fort Wilderness Motorhome to the list? :lmao:

This is just a little thing, but ... I have been pretty freaked out that our wedding is going to be rained out and that we'll have to have the ceremony in American Adventure Parlor (a.k.a. the tired country club :cool2: ) instead of Morocco.

Today I asked my WP how the rain-out call is made, when it's made, etc. Now she and I haven't seen eye-to-eye on many things, and sometimes I've felt like we were in a silent battle over stuff, but today she really surprised me.

When she told me that the call to move the ceremony indoors would actually be made the night before my wedding, at 9:00, I almost started crying (but I don't think she could tell - I was trying really hard not to go bridezilla!). I mean, what if they call it at 9 pm, and then on my wedding day it's bright and sunny and we're all stuck indoors?

Well, after we talked a bit, she decided that she would just tell Epcot at 9pm that they couldn't make the call til 6:00 the next morning, which gives me more of a chance, I feel. And she said we could use AA Rotunda instead of AA Parlor as our rain backup. And then she said she and the rest of the staff would pray for a sunny day for us - I was so surprised and touched by that! :cloud9:

It's really nice, after the contentious relationship we've had, to finally feel more of the warm fuzzies I was expecting to get during the wedding planning process with DFTW! (And, yes, I know that a lot of that contention was cuz I went in guns blazing, trying to get the cheapest Wishes Wedding on record :rotfl: )

It is a sick, sick disease that I have. I can take any normal conversation with any normal person about any normal topic and turn it into a wedding conversation. But is it kinda like if you think you're crazy then you're not crazy because crazy people don't know they're crazy? So if you're aware of your bridal behavior, is it really a disease??

Ooooh, you've got a couple in there that I wanna try! Le Cellier is AMAZING, as is California Grill. I didn't care for Bistro de Paris, but perhaps that was because I wasn't fully aware of my CM powers when I was a CP and ended up paying full price for my meal. I really want to try Brown Derby and Artist Point.... maybe since Chuck is working after the wedding before we leave for the cruise I can get my MOH to take to a romantic dinner?!? :rotfl: Again, I'm probably stuck with motorhome food, but you may want to add it Carrie, FMIL makes amazing sauce! She is Italian, ya know!

How gracious of your planner! I haven't even addressed this issue yet. I'm too afraid! I'm choosing to ignore this issue all together!

And you did now, didn't you?? Mission accomplished. :worship: :worship: :worship:

If I"m looking at your meals right & guessing a bit...

So you are going to be at lunch at AK on the 10th for Yak & Yeti & Citricos on the 15th?

If so...
I'm going to be there too...

DH and I had dinner at Flying Fish last Saturday and it was great! Ask if Bob is working, superb waiter, he was great with suggestions(be it food or wine). We put the kids in the kiddie jail at BC(that's my eldest's nickname for any sort of babysitting service we've dropped him at while on vacation).

We've done lunch at LeCellier and it was good too(you should have seen the size of the kids's steak, my 5'4" 11 yr old couldn't finish it), DH's steak seemed smaller.:rotfl2:

Did you find a place for your get together at the BC?

Hi Carrie,

What is Patricia Lejuene (sp?) website? I was trying to find it, but couldn't locate it. TIA!!

But is it kinda like if you think you're crazy then you're not crazy because crazy people don't know they're crazy? So if you're aware of your bridal behavior, is it really a disease?!

EXACTLY! :thumbsup2

Also, you should totally take your MOH to some romantic dinners! Before I met DF I used to eat out at swanky restaurants alone all the time - I wasn't gonna pass up food that good just cuz I didn't have anyone to go with!

Ooh! Ooh! When are your ADRs? We'll be at Y&Y at 11am and Citricos @ 7pm. We should meet!

Almost time Carrie! I bet your so excited, I would be lol! Did you get most everything done?

Um, yes... except for, like, our VOWS!!! :scared:

10 Days!!! Your almost there!!!

:yay:  :woohoo:

Thanks for the tip on Bob! :thumbsup2 I LOVE "kiddie jail" :rotfl: As for our meeting place, we finally decided to just switch to the Drawing Room and hope BCV isn't showing the Super Bowl in there too...

It's www.lejeune-pca.com. She can be slow with replies, but she does get back to you eventually. ;)

My Y&Y is at 12pm although we are prolly going to show up early to that as we have CRT at 5:15 that day & my Citricos is at 6pm so we should be able to see each other then. :)

Cool! This is great! I'm off to read your TR and see what you look like so I'll recognize you! (Or maybe I should just swipe a lime green Mickey head from Home Depot to wear on my shirt :rotfl: )

I'm running out of things to post about, but here's a picture of our Very Stern Transportation Newsletter, which we sent out the other day with the new transportation schedules we had to make. Now that I find out they use the plush DCL motorcoaches instead of regular Disney buses, the picture I used is actually wrong, but what the heck - my guests won't notice!

Yeah, I wanted to make it crystal clear, but I still have my doubts about whether certain of our guests will actually make the ceremony...

Yay! I know what you look like so if you see a blonde girl with a tattooed arm/behind the ear man the same height as her, its me. I'll try to find a more recent picture of us together so you know.

BTW, I love the transportation letter. I hope they get the point.

Wow! THat is so impressive and professional looking, too! :thumbsup2
Quick question -- can your guests get on your bus regardless of WHERE they are staying on property? Or just from your room-blocked resorts?

LOVE the letter! Besides its beauty-the message is awesome! Hopefully they will get it :confused3: or will they , LOL
