On a totally off-topic note here, have you heard of MouseAdventure at DL? I know you live in SoCal like me - so if you hadn't heard of it, it might be fun for you and DH! (As he will be when it rolls around) I won't go into details yet in case you already know what it is

OMG! I am just sitting here GAPING at all of these gorgeous components. I am so happy it's coming together for you so beautifully. Your program is absolutely stunning. If you have time and the energy and are willing, I'd LOVE to have the template for setting it up to print like that (I especially like the print going up the right side -- GORGEOUS!)

Thank you for the kind words! I designed the program in QuarkXpress, which is pro graphic design software like Adobe InDesign. If you have Quark, though, I'll send it right along!

I'll tell you, though, I started by just taking a piece of paper and folding it in thirds with a half inch or so exposed for our names. I bet you could do this, measure it and then mock it up in MS Word or Publisher by eye.

O....M....G I know I'm a big time lurker [BTW, you crack me up! ] but I just HAD to come in and say one thing: YOUR NECKLACE IS DROP DEAD BEAUTIFUL! You're going to look so beautiful on your wedding day!

Hey Lurkyloo, are you planning on doing something at the Solarium at the BC? I checked it out, boy it was packed for the football games on Sunday. It seemed to be in use through out the day, always saw some people in it. I just love the Morocco location(decided to try the Tangerine Cafe, very good). i bought a Fez.

Ack! This could get dicey. I'll have to investigate alternative gathering places. QUIET alternative gathering places... Congrats on the fez!

As for MouseAdventure, it's the scavenger hunt put on by MousePlanet twice a year - this year's 1st date is April 13th (Sunday). You get your own teams together - 2 to 6 people - and run amok in the park looking for clues!!

I'm thinking I have to get DB to do it with me - and another couple!

I guess registration fills up within like 2 days, and they haven't opened it yet - supposedly it will be the very end of this month. It's like $75 (so I'm told) per team, plus park admission if you don't have an AP.

I've been MIA sick: ) but I'm back and caught up, sort of. Everything looks phenomenal!!! Loooooooove the necklace, just like everyone else. And I think the programs look beautiful. Eeeeek! I'm just so overwhelmed at this point and I think everything is amazing and I don't know what else to say. This is it!! We're sooo close.

But I have to post that I just got an email from FMIL - who I'd asked to be in charge of smuggling leftover treats out of the dessert party - asking, in all seriousness, if she thought EPCOT security would let her bring in a SUITCASE for the leftovers! I love that woman!!

Anyway, Miss Lurky, a couple totally OT things I thought I'd tell ya (and the rest of you gals!) since I don't have a wedding of my own to chit-chat about :

* I told DB all about MouseAdventure, and he looked intrigued! So I kept talking (hey, I know when I'm on a roll), and he finally got this wide-eyed look on his face and insisted we should do it by ourselves! "Another couple will slow us down!"

* He was up in Northern Cali visiting family this last weekend, and he said on his flight back the couple sitting next to him were wearing Mickey & Minnie wedding ears! So he says to them, "So, did you just get married?" And they go, "Uhh, yeah". Way to go, smartypants!

I have nothing to report - I forgot to take a picture of our announcements... again.... or our Really Stern Transportation Newsletter. Maybe I can post those tomorrow!

In the meantime, I feel as if a huge weight has been lifted now that we've shipped the ceremony and reception items, the dress, our mouse ear favors, the fake bouquet, my fascinators, and our announcements off to our hotel.

The thing I feel like I'm neglecting now is planning the honeymoon - my poor little PassPorter is half empty! I've been planning this darn wedding so much that I've almost forgotten the other component - a two-week stay at WDW, which many people could spend a year planning!

At least I have a bazillion ADRs... whew!
