Lurkyloo Does WDW: Solo Banzai Run for PassPorter’s Decade of Dreams!

I think this is something we need to keep up while Carrie is away enjoying her trip to sunny FL. I'll contribute!

Here is something I found online----red velvet cupcakes with chocolate icing. Mmmmmmmmm.

Thank goodness!! I was beginning to wonder why all red velvet cake *must* have cream cheese frosting

Stupid eblogger has not/still will not let me log on to comment, so I will comment on here.. You will be leaving soon for home.. i'm sad for you:( Looks like you had a blast though! I have to say though... that passporter cake was not impressive :( Just my humble opinion! Anywho, I hope you get homes safely, and so glad you had fun!!

I found this today and thought of you..der

Carrie should be back tomorrow---so she can take over the daily cake responsibilities from there.

I happen to think this looks like heaven on a plate. There is no better combination in the world than peanut butter and chocolate. Mmmmmm.

You are home. :sad2:
Hope you had a marvelous time & I can't wait to read all about it.
In your honor, I am going to try to do a live blog myself...the only Disney portion will be a couple of days at the Boardwalk with a day in EPCOT. I will put a link in my siggie if anyone is interested in following along.

So sad that you are back already, the live blog was very entertaining---but so happy that you are back because now we get another awesome TR!

So Carrie---how were the crowds? A co-worker is leaving tomorrow and is stressing over the 8 and 9's that are predicted on UG because they usually go in November when it's practically dead.

The only good thing about a short trip is that you can get right to your post trip report! :lmao:

glad your back, hope the trip (and the cakes) were the best!

Oh and the Kermit Head in your live blog is flippin scary!:scared1:

Wow, pink cupcakes (amazing!!) and a cute domo with a purpose. (My friend has a photo with a giant DOMO in Hawaii on Halloween) Good update!

Ooh ooh and have fun... can't wait to hear back in oh, how long are you gone for again? 48 hours? :surfweb:

:rotfl: Practically! I just did the math, and it was 84 hours, but it doesn't quite have the same ring to it as 48 hours...

Woo hoo! You should be landing in MCO soon!! Hope you have a room available at Pop so you can SLEEP!!! :cool1:

They did! But then I was almost too excited to sleep!

Will a 3G work inside the parks w/o wifi? DH has the 1st gen iPhone, and its Internet didn't work at WDW last year. I have a 3G now, and I wondered if it will work next year.

Yes, because you have AT&T's cellular network - anywhere you can use a cell phone, you can use an iPhone. :thumbsup2

I have a Dymo label maker for just such an OCD emergency. :) Got it at Heaven, er, Target.

:rotfl2: Love it! And love Target!

Hope you had a great flight....catch a nap....and catch us up! Have a great trip:goodvibes

Thank you so much! I'm sorry I didn't pop back in here with updates. Next time I hope to have one of the new iPhones with cut & paste, which will allow me to post pix right in my pre-trippie. :thumbsup2

Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!! Trippie time!
You have landed (I saw it on the blog)....if you check in here have a great time & eat lots of cake for us.

Thanks! And boy did I....

Glad you arrived safely in MCO---already loving the live blogging even though it just began! :thumbsup2

Yay! Glad you were following along!

D'oh! :headache: And I was checking your Twitter instead!

I totally neglected my Twitter during this trip - shame on me! But I had my hands full (literally!) juggling a camera, an iPhone (camera) and blogging.

Twitter? You're on Twitter? Must...go... find... you.... It will never happen. :guilty: Twitter makes it ridiculously hard to find people.

True - which is why I was so puzzled when I started gettinga bunch of new followers on Friday and Saturday. Until....

If you meant Lurkyloo, here you go! :goodvibes

http://twitter.com/lurkyloo

A-ha! So that's what happened! I was like "Wowza! Where are all these new followers coming from?" Thanks, Wazzo! :rotfl:

Hope you're having a wonderful time, have some cake for both of us!

I think I had cake for at least five of us.... :cloud9:

I think this is something we need to keep up while Carrie is away enjoying her trip to sunny FL. I'll contribute!

Great idea! :thumbsup2

Awesome looking cupcakes!

That's so funny! Maybe I'll crib a few of my namesake's cakes for the blog.

your live blog is the bomb diggity. :thumbsup2

 Wow - thanks!

I'm definitely interested! It will help ease my post-trip letdown.

It was more crowded than I am used to, I have to say. But I'm pretty sure it wasn't crazy-go-nuts crowded. Like, if you saw that one popular ride had a 40-minute wait, there would be another one that had only a 10-minute wait. If your co-worker follows the UG touring plans, s/he should be OK, b/c s/he will be going against the crowds.

The only good thing about a short trip is that you can get right to your post trip report! :lmao:

Hee hee! More on that in a mo....

glad your back, hope the trip (and the cakes) were the best!

And how! Nathan & Jensey figured out that it was a magnet. But still... why?

OK, I have good news, and I have bad news... and then I have good news for those among you who are not pregnant or dieting!

Good news: I'monna have a ton of fabulous Root photos to illustrate Days 1 & 4 of my trip!

Bad news: Jensey has a real job, so they won't be ready til this weekend. But in the meantime I will be able to sort through and organize my own (not-so-hot) photos so I can hit the ground running when hers are ready.

Good news again: I'll be posting Cake o' the Day pictures until I start my trippie!

Cake o' the Day!

I can't resist this one from my blog. We happened to be at BoardWalk Bakery right as they were carrying DISer Lorelei's wedding cake out to Sea Breeze Point, and the guy posed for a pic!

photo-23.jpg

That is CRAZY how he is carrying that cake! Those things weigh a TON! Maybe he carried mine to our reception and that is why it was crooked on the bottom layer. :lmao:

Glad you got back safe and sound and it was great meeting you!

I have to agree that that guy is buff to be handleing that wedding cake like that! And he's not even sweating, in Fl!! Good thing Lorelei didn't see this photo before the wedding :)

Hi Sarah! It was so nice to meet you too! But I am super-bummed I couldn't take your leftover cake off your hands. And that the pb chocolate part was dry.... :sad1: They owe you a bunch of those pb choc cake slices from BoardWalk Bakery!

I'd be so afraid of dropping that cake if I handled it that way!

Yeah... I'd be afraid of dropping it right into my MOUTH! :rotfl:

Beautiful wedding cake!!!!!!!! Wonder what flavor it was?

Oooh! Ooh! I should know this! Let me see if I can find it in her planning journal... Poop! It's not there. OK, let's pretend it was chocolate with pb cup mousse and it wasn't dry.... :cutie:

OK, I checked out that Carrie's Cakes web site and picked out my favorite. You can prolly guess why...

I also really like this one though!
