Lurker coming out for advice - Cricut Cartriges

I've been lurking on the scrapbooking thread for a long time and I think I'm going to be getting a bug for my birthday (why else would the DH be asking me about cartridge preferences right?). So I've been looking at all the carts and am definitely getting Mickey and Friends and I'd like Dreams Come True and Animal Kingdom and well about a dozen others. I am wavering on whether or not to go for the Mickey Font Cart.

Does anyone have it and use it enough to justify adding it my list? The font is cute and all, but it seems like there are other fonts carts, rub-ons, stickers, computer journaling that would work just as well.

We've gone to WDW twice in the last 6 months and it looks like we'll be going again in September. The joys of being DINKS (Double Income No Kids) for the time being I'd like to have as much of the first trips scrapped before we go back so I know what pictures/events I need to capture.

Okay well that was an overly rambling way of saying: What carts should I ask for?

Yes, I have it and love it. I find myself using it w/ layouts other than Disney... just to give the letters a little different feel.

I also like the Jasmine font. I use the George cart a lot too. It's a font/shape cartridge.

Mickey is my favorite font. The others are too "skinny" for me. I like them to have some substance.

I use them with wall pops to make words for my wall at school.

I agree with Nancy. I love the font, (I don't have the other Mickey cart) and then my next faves are George and Jasmine.

Another vote for Mickey Font! It is really a great one. The other one I recommend is Cuttin Up, it's like 6 fonts in one because of the features.

This is a great font. And not just for Disney pages. It is a nice bold font with some extras. I also like Opposites Atract(sp). It is like getting a script font and a regular font in one. I have Mickey and Friends and Happily Ever After too. I didn't think I needed Happily Ever After and my girls are grown, but you have to love those 7 dwarfs...and lots of extra bits and pieces.

I haven't received my Cricut yet (its being shipped as we speak) but apart from the two carts it came with, the Mickey Font is the first one I bought. Of course I have followed it up with just about every other cart, but this is the one I am looking forward to the most.

I have been looking through all the carts and all of the great examples of what people have made and commenting on the cuteness of certain carts. The DH finally said you're going to have to narrow it down, I have a list of 20 cartridges listed as "cute."

My big bug arrived today!! I was home (recovering from surgery) to sign for it. Since it's a birthday present and to hard to remove from the package and repackage before the DH gets home I'll just have to wait for 6 more days
I'll guess I'll just have to spend the time looking at the handbooks of the included cartridges and planning new pages
