I remember having a metal "Snow White" lunchbox and a plastic "Care Bears" one. Choosing a lunchbox was always one of my favorite and toughest (so many to choose from) things about starting school.

So, what kind of lunchbox did you have growing up?

Dukes of Hazzard and Strawberry Short cake. The square metal kind.

I had a metal Holly Hobby! :goodvibes

I ate in the cafeteria. Lunchboxes were decidedly a girl item at my school. If you HAD to bring a lunch, you brown bagged it and pretended it wasn't yours if you got caught with the bag. The coolest guys ate junk out of the vending machines. :thumbsup2

I had a Holly Hobby, Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bear! That was also one of my favorite parts of school shopping!

The only two I remember are metal Peanuts and Sigmund and the Sea Monster

eta
i think imay have also had an archies lunchbox

I had Holly Hobbie and Snoopy, the metal type.

I had a metal Peanuts lunch box.

I had a plastic Snoopy in the mid 70's.
That's the only one I can remember.

I had a yellow plastic Garfield lunchbox, which I loved because I love cat anything. I once had one of those hinged type where the large thermos fits in the top and my mom pasted photos of animals all over it. For some reason, it completely embarassed me. I forgot all about that until now!

My aunt had the metal WDW lunchbox that they have in the Walt attraction at MGM. I always begged my Gran for it, but she wouldn't let me have it.

I never had a lunch box. We always ate the school's lunch. The only time we took our lunch to school was when we went on trips.

I had Holly Hobby, Strawberry Shortcake and Smurfs. I miss those stinky boxes!

My favorite one was metal, peanuts and gang with Lucy on the front at her psychiatrist booth. That one took me through 4th grade then I think I may have had a scooby doo one.

I had a purple Bugaloo lunch kit and then graduated up to a baby blue Holly Hobbie lunch kit:cool1:

I had the metal '70s Disney World lunch box and thermos and then it was Empire Strikes Back. Wish I still had the WDW one because it's worth some $$.

I remember a Pooh one in kindergarten and a Brady Bunch one in 3rd grade. For some reason I'm fuzzy about the other grades :confused3 .

The ones I can remember are: Metal-Raggedy Ann&Andy, New Mickey Mouse Club, Cracker Jacks. Plastic-Little Orphan Annie. Puffy white-New Zoo Review.

I know I had others but I can't remember what they were. What I really wanted was the white puffy Donny and Marie, but I went to a Christian school and we were not allowed any lunch boxes with "rock" singers on them. Boy was I mad when I went to school and someone had a BeeGees lunch box.

This was early 70's; I had a Peter Pan lunch box and then a Wild, Wild West lunch box.

The only ones I really remember are Hong Kong Phooey and Speed Buggy. I'm sure there were others but I can't remember them.
