I was thinking that I would budget $500 for DDs (4.5 and 2) and I to eat on our trip. This would include a dinner at Ohana and a dinner at maybe Chef Mickeys. For lunch, I was planning on packing lunch type stuff and throwing a cooler in the bottom of the stroller. Now I am wondering if it would make more sense to do CS in the parks for lunch and have some kind of casserole, etc waiting for us in the condo for dinner. The youngest DD has a few food allergies, and if she is anything like her sister was at that age, will sleep through most meals anyhow so I will pack a lot of food for her regardless. I was assuming that the plan was to pack lunch and hit an off property restaurant for dinner but I am thinking that CS lunch and relaxing dinner at 'home' sounds better. Opinions?

If you think you'll be "home" at dinner time, then I'd go with the CS lunch plan. But if you find you're not going to be back at your condo at suppertime, then it would be quite a hassle.

We are DVC members and we always pack a lunch and then eat dinner in the villa. We choose one night to go out somewhere. I get easy things to make for lunch.. nutella sandwiches, pb&j, chicken wraps etc, and bring snacks and water bottles. For dinner we do pasta, chicken, tacos...easy things. I love that i can be in Disney, feel like i am at home and not spend a fortune on food. With 4 children, you do what you can to be able to go to WDW every year :)
