Lunch v. Dinner @ Coral Reef

I had dinner reservations for Coral Reef, but now my brother and his wife are going to join us that night. I've called Disney 100 times, and I can't add them on. I'll keep trying, but in the meen time, I was thinking about making lunch reservations for us before they get to Disney.
I was looking at the menus on Allears, and the lunch and dinner are very different. I'm just wondering if someone who has been to both, can tell me if this is accurate. I really want to Pan-Roasted Jumbo Sea Scallops, but they are not on the lunch menu.

I've been to both lunch and dinner at Coral Reef, and I'm sorry I can't comment on the menu. But since no one else posted, I wanted to give you my opinion-going at lunchtime is MUCH better! It's quieter, less hectic, and the servers seemed friendlier, less rushed. And it's less expensive at lunchtime, too.

Thanks for the info. We are on the dining plan, but may pay OOP for this meal since we have added more because of my brother coming down, so its good to know that they are cheaper durring lunch!
Though I'm not a fan of sit down lunches at The World (I have rides to get on and characters to meet ya know! lol), if we want to eat here, we are going to have to take it. And to know that its usually less crouded, and a better atmosphere is great. And since we are doing lunch, maybe we will have a better chance of getting a seat near the tank!
