Does anyone know what is on the "menu" for the Princess lunch and dinner character meals? I know it's buffet or family style - just not so sure we would like any of the offerings and so far I can't get into the breakfast. With all of the talk about only Cinderella being at CRT I'm trying to be able to see the other princesses as well. When I got into the CRT on my 1st try I didn't give the Norway a 2nd thought as I assumed I would see most of the princesses at CRT and breakfast isn't anyone's favorite meal, except for mine. :confused3

Is it characters for lunch and dinner as well? I'm pretty certain it wasn't in September when I visited here. I know they have the character brekkie here, but I would check on that for the lunch/evenings.

They had changed the set up for the evenings this trip and I found it was something I didn't like as much as my previous visits. They used to have it as a hot and cold buffet style, this visit they had the cold starters still set up as a help yourself buffet, but the main courses were served at your table by the plateful. I don't like this set up because everytime they bring you a heap of potatoes and veggies and just a small amount of venison, chicken, beef or REALLY strangely a solitary meatball that appeared to be bullied by a plateful of broccolli. I much prefered it when you could take just the bits that you wanted.

I really like the food they serve here. Smoked salmon, cold cuts, norwegian cheeses, salads, shrimp and (yum yum) pickled herrings (scandinavian speciality) for starters. Swedish meatballs, venison stew, beef and pot roast veggies for main courses ( this is REAL WINTER FOOD LOL) but IMHO it is seriously hampered by the current serving style, I hope that it was only because it was a quiet season and it was a more economical way to run the kitchen, because if that is the new way of doing it , I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon.

I was wondering the same thing. We went once for lunch and I wasn't impressed it was a been there done, that don't need to do it again thing.

We were considering it for DD, but wasn't sure we would like the food. I wonder if they are changing the menu.

I agree Vernon...I was sorely disappointed at the change. I remember when I was in Lillehammer for the 94' Olympics...the food was so similar. They are changing again in April to ALL characters...ALL the time and the food is changing yet again....it is so sad. :guilty:

I don't know what the menu will be, but it is a princess meal for all 3 meals there now (that is, starting April 10th). I wanted to do a non-character meal there, but had to go with Morocco instead. I just called about 2 days ago and found this out. I'm not happy about it because I wanted to eat there without paying character meal prices. :sad2:

I'm hoping that the menu might change some once the character changes take place (April 10th is what I was told today). The CM didn't have info on the food offerings being any different, just that it would be Princess characters at all three meals.
