Lunch or Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern

Another vote for lunch here. The fried cheese is awesome, I LOVE :lovestruc the Colony salad, and the toffee cake and the apple tart with butterscotch ice cream are both FANTASTIC desserts. :thumbsup2

The only reason my family ever did dinner was for the characters. The interaction was always great; the food was nothing special. Since they no longer do characters at dinner, it's not on my list any more.

I love their lunch menu, though. I've never been disappointed with LTT at lunch.

We had lunch there for the first time in September, and we loved it so much that we are going back in May. In fact, my DD9 suggested to eat there for her B-day lunch. I can't wait to get the Colony Salad again.....it was amazing

Lunch at LTT is a must do for me during every trip. Not a big fan of the "family style" dinner that they have - too much food for me.

I like the dinner, but have not gone back since the characters left. Too much money for there not to be any characters, plus, I HATE the dessert. I don't like anything with fruit in it. For this reason (dessert), I also do not like Garden Grill. Its vacation, a good dessert is a must!

My family really likes the dinner and we often go there before MNSSHP or MVMCP. We have been for lunch a few times, but have never had a really great meal. The food has always been fine, but the service has never been that good.

DH and I always had gone for dinner and really enjoyed it. However it is pricey, especially without the characters now that we haven't been since they removed them.

does anyone like the dinner? I love family style meals, and I thought this would be a nice meal for our last night. My boys LOVE Thanksgiving fare...so figured this would eb right up their alley!

If you like family style meals and enjoy Thanksgiving fare then, by all means, give it a try. It is good but not spectacular. Slightly better than my grandmother who was not a good cook and made everything from boxes, not as good as the rest of the family who does everything homemade. ;)

We have not been since they dropped the characters.

Glad to hear all the good reviews of LTT lunch! I booked this for lunch on Mother's Day. I wanted to do a sit-down meal, but this is our MK day (first day has to be an MK day!) & there aren't a lot of choices for TS here. Hopefully we will all enjoy it!

we loved the dinner so much we cancelled our other adr and ate there again. It was so delicious! Words cant say how good!!! I wasn't thrilled on the description of the dinner but wanted to try it since we were on our 10th trip and had yet to try it. Boy was I surprised!!! Out of this world!! I would definitely make that a must do from now on! I just wish they kept the characters! :santa:

Lunch, the family style dinner does not interest me at all.

Dinner. We thought it was really good and we enjoy the meat and potatoes kinda meal. The ham was great, the steak meat tender, and the turkey juicy. The gravy was flavorful and the dressing was good too. I loved the green beans, I need the recipe for that. The cobbler dessert has a great crust with ice cream. Slightly disappointed in the macaroni and cheese.

I would choose lunch. We have had lunch there and have enjoyed it! We have never had dinner there, but I do not really care for the offerings. We could eat that anytime at home. So, I much rather prefer the nice selection of offerings they have on the lunch menu.

I am so GLAD that I read this thread. I had dinner reservations and decided to change it to lunch. The latest they had available was 1:20. Now, how late is the last seating for lunch? I'd like to look into changing it if something opens up.
THANKS!!!!:wizard:

I choose lunch, because there's a vegetarian option on the lunch menu :)...not so for dinner :sad2:

We've done [and enjoyed] both. However, we went to dinner when it was still character dining and now with it being the same price without "the show" it really doesn't hold as much appeal to me. Don't get me wrong, the food was tasty, but seems overpriced w/out the characters. Lunch as also very good and will be a "do" during our February trip...
