Lunch menu @ Blue Bayou?

Just had lunch there on the last trip, and have to mention, avoid the steak and go for the crab cakes! they were amazing.

you know it kind of makes me sad really when I think about the MC and how it is now....used to you could only get it at BB and i think its still only during lunch and it was HUGE...I could never finish it...but every trip I planned a visit to BB...then one day I ordered it and noticed it had really REALLY shrunk ...then i found out CO was starting to sell it for cheaper and I went there but alas, it was tiny as well and it just didnt taste like it used to...it was way greasier than before so I gave up eating it...however, I did later find a recipe for the actual BB MC and I made it myself...its pretty easy and yummy...I dont particularly care for anything in CO except the gumbo but I do have to say that BB makes the most AWESOME jambalaya that Ive ever had...I dont like Jazz Kitchens at ALL...I like my jambalaya HOT and spicy and BB delivers

It's funny that you say that, because during our last trip (Ocotober, so Pirates was closed for refurb) we had the Monte Cristo at CO and it was HUGE. We both wound up eating only half of the sandwich. But good to hear about the Jambalya is amazing, because that is what I was leaning towards.

I went to Blue Bayou for lunch on Sunday and was completely disappointed compared to the dinner menu. Ended up going back on Tuesday for dinner. I won't ever eat lunch again lol

SHOOT! I just got off the phone changing my Blue Bayou ADR from dinner to lunch! I want to hit Cafe Orleans on the same day and thought Cafe Orleans would be better in the evening than at 11:30?!

I have an ADR for us to eat at BB on 6/5 at 2:30 (late lunch=less crowded=better chance of sitting by the water) and no matter what I'm going to absolutely enjoy myself. And I most definitely plan on getting a MC. I've been thinking about it since I had it way back in 1986!
