LUNCH: Liberty Tree or Tony's???

Lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern or Tony's Town Square

We have not eaten at either in quite a long time.

WE are six adults. Which one do you recommend and why.

I hope someone out there responds. I have the same question! We're staying at the BLT in December and honesty haven't eaten lunch in MK for as long as I can remember. Was wondering which of the two is better for dinner too. I will be on the dining plan.

I really enjoy the LTT lunch. I've had the Pilgrim's feast (tasty) and the Tri-Corner sandwich which, besides being enormous, is totally delish. Yum!

Thanks! That does sound yummy. Should I just pay out of pocket for lunch instead of using my DDP?

Um, it's not terribly expensive. The tri-corner and the angus burger are $11.19 IIRC (we were there last Saturday), the pilgrim's feast is $16 something. Really just depends on what you want. Oh, but be SURE to order the fried cheese. One is mozz and one is white cheddar and while both are good, the cheddar is amazing!

Another vote for Liberty Tree. Tony's is good, but it is in my opinion, not as good at LTT for lunch!

LTT also. I know preferences vary but our last meal at Tony's was not memorable, but it has been a number of years.

Another vote for LTT. We tried Tony's for lunch in January for the first time in years. Our server was great but I thought the food was just ok....better than it used to be though.

I agree with everyone else and would choose LTT. I was not impressed with Tony's food or atmosphere when we ate there (for lunch). Thanksgiving dinner always sounds good to me.

we havent ever eaten at Liberty Tree, but I was not at all impressed with Tony's but I have read and heard amazing reviews at Liberty Tree!

LTT and we pay OOP because it isn't that expensive. However we always get dessert too...I Love the Strawberry shortcake and DH an my mom love the toffee thing.

I've eaten at both, and we preferred LTT. The food and service was good and the desserts were great.

Tony's wasn't terrible and it was actually better than expected, but the entrees were pretty bland.

Both are good it's like either Italian or Thanksgiving meal. Which do you prefer ? I would pick Tony's first espically with 6 adult's in my opinion.

At lunch, LTT is an a la carte meal. There are sandwiches, salads, etc as well as the pot roast and turkey.

LTT for lunch, soup, salad & sandwiches were good, DSs turkey was dried out...maybe leftover from night before

I'm trying to choose between these two also. Tony's is the only MK restaurant we've not eaten at, which makes eating lunch there more tempting. LTT lunch does get great reviews though. Tough choice! FWIW, we don't care for LTT's dinner at all.

I think Tony's is one of the worst if not the worst restaurant in the World. It's a shame that at what should and could be one of the best locations in the entire world Disney wouldn't have a better restaurant. I know that it's sponsored by Buitoni and it appears they use the same jared sauce they sell in grocery stores which is not good anyway.

Definitely LTT for lunch and Tony's for dinner,

I was there recently and enjoyed both I had a memorable pot roast and mushroom soup at LTT and the cheese!!. Went to Tony's for dinner. Would like to try LTT for dinner but last time could not get ADR's for that time period

Tony's is better for dinner anyhow plus if you are lucky you will get a porch seat just in time for the evening parade!

At risk of sounding like a broken record I agree that LTT is great for lunch - but I too would pay OOP. I love the salad with apples, cheese and pecans - YUM!
