Lunch & Dinner hours

My sister-in-law asked me a question I can't answer and I hate that lol!!
So I'm turning to all you Disney experts for help. She wants to know what are the times that are considered lunch and which are dinner. Can you still get lunch off the menu at 4pm or do they stop lunch at 2 and start dinner at 3. This would be of course at sit down restaurants.

It really varies, restaurant by restaurant. The majority seem to open at 11am for lunch and then start serving dinner around 5pm. Some of them, especially resort restaurants, may close between lunch and dinner, some not. Some open later than 11 for lunch (I've waited as late as 12:30 for some of the Epcot WS restaurants), and some open as late as 6pm for dinner (especially if they aren't open for lunch at all).

Your best bet is to check the dining section here on the DIS. When you look up a restaurant, in addition to the menus, it shows the operating hours.
