Lunch @ BOG

The online reservations say that reservations are only taken for dinner.
I see people posting ressies that they had for lunch. How do you get lunch ressies? Is there a fast pass option for lunch?

they don't take reservations for lunch because at lunch its a quick service restaurant.

there is a fastpass for lunch but you must be invited via email in order to even get a fastpass for it.

i've gone a number of times for lunch and all i do is get there around 10am and wait until they open at 10:30am and i'm among the first few groups to walk in.

eating an early lunch works out perfectly for my family cuz none of us are big breakfast eaters so all we have for breakfast is a fruit and grain bar so we are hungry for lunch by then.

This is incorrect. You do not need the email invite to set up a fastpass. Go to the BOG FAQ thread in this forum for answers to your questions. You must be an onsite guest.

FYI- We were at WDW last week. Lunch is currently FP+ only. No Standby line. No FP+ = you don't eat lunch at BOG. Supposedly this is at least for the rest of October with no word as to whether it will continue beyond that date.

You don't need the email invite but you have to be staying in a Disney resort to be able to get a FP for lunch there.

I never got the invitation via email and I am able to go on the link right now and reserve a FP for Nov 12th today. Tomorrow I will be able to get one for Nov 13th (which is when I want the FP). 27 days out from the day you want to have lunch there is when you can do it.
