Hello Everyone!

I was wondering about lunch at the waterparks. I've looked at the menus posted online and wondered about taking our own lunches into the parks. Is this allowed? What about stuff to drink? Help! I have all of my family (12 of us!) going & need a plan!

Thanks for help!

Gina

We were there last week and each time we went to the water parks, we brought in a soft sided cooler filled with water bottles and Mountain Dew. I also had thrown in some cookies. They checked our cooler as we entered to make sure there was no alcohol or glass in it, but had no problem with me bringing in things. I saw another person walk in with a Styrofoam cooler without any issues as well. Bring in lunch (and drinks!). You won't regret it!:thumbsup2

Thanks so much! I think the kids will be happier with a PBJ rather than stopping that long to buy something they probably won't eat anyways! LOL! :rotfl2:

Our trip to TL is never complete without a stop at Typhoon Tilly's for a BBQ Pork sandwich! They are AWESOME, and now with Magic Bands, easy to jump out of the Lazy River, grab a bite, and pop back in the river or Shark Reef!

Also love the mini donuts at both BB and TL!

I just posted on my TR about the food at Typhoon Lagoon and included a link to a blog report I read pre-trip, which clued me in to the mini-donuts. (OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!)

You can see the link in my signature - I was surprised there were some good choices there.

But if nothing else...GET THE MINI DONUTS!!!!

:) :thumbsup2

We pack lunches. Just did last week. I find the food pretty gross and expensive (especially the kid meals) so we just pack. It's easy to bring in a cooler and leave it at your chair. Plus it's a lot more comfortable for us to eat picnic style at our chairs when soaking wet. You will see tons of people who pack at the waterparks. We do usually get the sand pail ice cream (one of the best deals on property) as a treat. And I agree, those mini donuts are yum!

My "man-cub" of a 14 year old son is all about the donuts! Will do on those! I just read your trip report. Awaiting your next installment! Thanks so much!~
