I was so glad to see this video. I have had similar lunch experiences here and enjoy the new menu items.

Service is improving, but the salads do need some freshening. I recommend asking for the dressing on the side as they can occasionally drench your salad.

Join Pete and Ryno for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern inside the Magic Kingdom. Watch and see what they think of the new menu changes.

Wow! Great review. I've never been to Liberty Tree largely because of the terrible reviews over the years. Items on the a la carte lunch were often praised, but the turkey dinner & trimmings was usually panned. Makes me re-think & maybe give LT a try. Happy to see this positive review.

We stopped doing the dinner years ago, back when they had characters. The quality of lunch (and pricing) keeps me going back and we love the toffee cake.

Eating al a carte with $15-$20 entree gives you a good sized meal, but don't waste a sit down credit if you're on the DDP. They did remove mozzarella sticks from the menu recently.

At dinner they have or had just the platter, so I imagine them prepping 300 of those per night and nuking it as needed. I hope John and Kevin give it one more try.

Nice review, as always, and I love Pete and Ryno together. I haven't eaten here in YEARS, but I've heard great things about the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. :) Seems it's on a lot of people's "must have while @ WDW" list. (along with Dole Whips, Mickey bars, rice krispy treats, Tonga toast, etc)

Great review! I think the last time I ate there was 2004 when they still had characters. May have to visit again on a future trip. BTW- what is the design on Pete's magic band?

I do miss the characters here. I haven't been for dinner since they removed them. We did go there for lunch during our last visit, and it was really good.

The one, big family vacation we took to WDW (1999) included dining at Liberty Tree Tavern. We really enjoyed our experience. I'm torn between that and Be Our Guest (if it's available) when we go in the next few months.

Be our Guest is a great experience as well. I've done BOG dinner twice no and have it booked for marathon Sunday in January. Maybe you could do a quick service breakfast or lunch at BOG to get the experience and then dinner at LTT. Just a suggestion.

Are you thinking BOG for dinner?

I'd personally skip that if so. I went in March and thought it was terrible. I ordered a meat dish (can't even remember what it was) and was served a plate of grease and fat. I won't go back for dinner again; lunch is really good though.

I haven't been back to LTT in years but this review makes me curious!

I was really surprised to see such a positive review, but that's good! I haven't been in years and that one visit ages ago was not exactly great. I am a bit of a turkey hoarder o_O- seriously- at home and while I love making turkey throughout the year...it's always nice when I can find someone else to do it for me and do it right. Might have to add LTT to the dining roster for an upcoming trip.

Wow!! For years we avoided this place because of its "store brought" quality of food. I guess we'll try it out and see what we think. Always looking for a great place to eat in Magic Kingdom and it's on the parade route. We will see!!! Thanks for the review Pete and Rhino!!!

We really enjoyed our dinner there in 2014, but I don't know how much of it was the ambiance as I am a hug history buff and the setting was righ up my alley.
I remember we asked for second of some of the items.

I look forward to watching this one!

Could've just been an off night. I was there on January had the steak and I thought it was great. I'm a big fan of the grey stuff dessert so is just go for that lol.

Another place we've never eaten at, been going for over 30 years. I'm not a big fan of ayce because I can't eat a lot and "comfort" food is a little heavy for me but I have a feeling this will be included on our next trip.

Rereading this and watching the video, I assume there is an error. I assumed they had just changed the menu. LTT has been al a carte for lunch and The Patriots Platter AYCTE at dinner, and was still that way when we last ate here on July 26th. I just double checked and it is still that way.

I can only assume the video was at what the restaurant considers dinner but Ryno called lunch. All of my recent visits there have been for lunch, where entrees were under $20 (though I may need to try for dinner soon). Here is their lunch menu for pricing.

I am so glad the food is good again. We went in 2010 for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was a special menu and it was delicious. Then I saw the reviews on a regular meal and we never ate there again. It will definitely go back on our list.
