Lunch at CP?

There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews about lunch at CP. Why do you or don't you like lunch at CP? We are going to the MK for one day. My sister is taking her two kids to the MK for the first time. I want to take them to a character meal and I think lunch is our only option. She doesn't want to do breakfast because she thinks the kids will be to excited to want to sit and eat first thing. We are also worried about how tired they will be after doing the MK with no naps so we don't really want to do dinner. Is it that bad? Would we be better off doing CM's for breakfast the next day?

The lunch we had there was wonderful. I remember a chicken pasta and a tomato salad that were outstanding. There were carved meat that were good too, and plenty of salad bar fixings.
I rarely see a negative post on CP. The ones on the CP lunch or breakfast thread are the only ones I've seen in months.

Breakfast there is very good too. It really jsut depends on which type of food you prefer. What we did last yr was eat breakfast late (10 or 10:30) at CP since they didn't have any lunch (or dinner, lunch was my first pick, then dinner) PS's that day. Origionally we had a PS for dinner that night at 1900 PF (when it was still Pooh) but called the day before and found a breakfast PS at CP had opened up. We really didn't want to waste time leaving the park to eat that day.

We ended up having lunch at CP because we missed our ps for breakfast. All I can say was it was fantastic !!!
The character interaction when we went was phenomenal !! Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet were there....no Tigger though.
We saw the characters at least 2x each.
The food was very good. I mean everything was good...not just a couple of things. We will definitely go back again this trip.

I certainly didn't mean that only a couple of the items were good LOL... Just that those items were what stand out to me as being exceptional

Oh sha lyn.....I wasn't basing anything I said on your post. I just meant we were thrilled with everything. I was very excited after that meal. It was just the perfect meal to start the perfect day.
It was our first character meal and we were extremely pleased. I have great pics of my bf with Eeyore and Piglet.
Anyway, I'm sorry if you thought I was disagreeing with your post.
