Lunch at Chefs de France

I am a big fan of the menu-fixe lunch with the onion soup and the croque monsieur followed by creme brulee :goodvibes

My frequent travelmate much prefers the lobster bisque, salade nicoise, and the profiteroles.

My mom - the chief person who demands Chefs lunch on trips where she is going along - is a half-chicken, apple crepes fan.

Our daughter always orders escargot, one son always begins with the tarte Alsacienne. The rest of us mix it up...lots of tasty choices at lunch.

I love their quiche with a nice glass of white wine. My hubby usually orders a hot crepe - I think they make it with smoked chicken.

And we usually share the cheese plate.

One of our favorite places to have lunch at Epcot! :thumbsup2

Keep the advice coming!! We're going to have lunch there for the first time in June. I made the reservation as soon as I heard that Remy was making appearances. I hope we see him!! Has anyone tried the Gratin de Macaroni? Sounds like mac & cheese but with gruyere - yum!

Just had the ribs for lunch this last week and they were awesome!!

Remy was there for lunch and he was pretty funny!

Chefs de France is one of my favorite places for lunch :thumbsup2

I'd highly recommend starting with the french onion soup, and from there I'd say the macaroni and cheese (very cheesy, rich gryuere cheese with a nice crispy top) or the croque monsieur (toasted ham and cheese sandwich)

Finish with profiteroles (cream puffs filled with ice cream and topped with fudge sauce) or the creme brulee.

I read he will be there until September and that he is there 11 - 6 Monday thru Saturday, but no guarantees on the accuracy of this data as it's only what I've read hear on the DIS.

Both were good. We got the menu-fixe lunch once before and although each item was good individually it was really heavy all together- a lot of cheese and then cream (this would have been a nightmare for a lactose intolerant person)...we could barely finish any of it we were so full, we practically limped out of there. The onion soup was really yummy though. And we saw the quiche this last time and it looked good too. Have fun!

Oh darn, not going until November. I thought it would be neat to do lunch there on the my great-nephews birthday. Plus I have always enjoyed my meal there.

DH and I looooove the Quiche Lorraine (but you can get the veggie one if you ask for it), and our girls always split the mac and cheese. Always, always get onion soup to start and creme brulee to finish!
