Lunch at Boardwalk

Can you please tell me where to eat Lunch at the Boardwalk?

ESPN is a good spot for lunch. If you want to eat outside you can eat at the Big River Grill. I prefer ESPN but if it's a beautiful day you can't beat eating out side at Big River.

We had lunch at ESPN, it was great! The wings and the reuben were delish, the restaurant was empty except for 4 tables and we watched the Red Sox game on the huge tv...love it!

We like ESPN too. The food is not bad - love the nachos! - and it is usually quiet at lunch.

we stayed at the boardwalk villas in april and ate there often during our stay. i must say we ate at espn and it was the worst meal we had in a very long time. the food was terrible and the wait staff was worse! we even spoke with the manager on duty and she basically said sorry and that was it. we will never return there again. however as bad as the espn was the big river grill was awesome. it's so nice to sit at an outside table {if you can stand the birds} and watch the bay and people go by. loved it!

ESPN ---- sports and beer - great combination!

ETA Big River is good too - We've probably eaten at ESPN 20+ times and BR 4-5 and never had an issues with either place.

Have eaten at both many times. Both are good, you'll have a good time at either. Personally prefer Big River Brewing. At lunch very quiet, and very relaxing just sitting on the boards and having a good meal (ribs - mmm!) and a nice beer.

We have lunch at Big River Grille at least once each trip to WDW. It is a nice, relaxing place to have lunch, with decent food and great beers.

We avoid ESPN like the plague. The food is atrocious.

Boardwalk Bakery serves sandwiches and entree sized salads. You can sit outside on their tables. If you want TS, DS loved Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club.

You could also take the boat (or walk) over to Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club.

ESPN gets my vote but my family says I already watch enough sports and TV. I need to convince them I love ESPN for the food quality, which by the way is not bad at all. Good sandwiches etc.

I am shocked when people hate ESPN! We are pretty choosy, and it was a nice surprise when we had lunch there last Sept- huge portions, good salad, great nachos, and very relaxing- server was great too.

We also eat at ESPN (agree lunch is usually a good time) but find the food average. (Night is too crowded and noisy for us.)

I love Big River also!

There are also a few places and Swan & Dolphin. In season, the pool cafes (Cabana and Splash) have good looking menus.

ESPN is not my favorite, often much too loud but they have a turkey/brie sandwich that is to die for. Also the Boardwalk bakery makes really good sandwiches, very fresh. If you like hot dogs, crispy onion rings etc. there is also a cart that sells them by the dock. Those onion rings were the cirspiest I've ever eaten, my son loved them. I've eate at the BRG for dinner and the food is good so I anticipate that lunch would be no different. If you have park hoppers you can also walk to Epcot for any counter service, my personal favorite is the Schwarma Platter in Morrocco.!

If you are looking for a counter service option, the walk up pizza window at Spoodles has really good pizza. You walk up and order at the window and then take your food to one of the tables. It's really nice to sit on the Boardwalk and people watch, especially at night.

agree, the pizza is awesome. it became a dangerous place for us when we stayed at the villas for 10 days. every night our boys {15 and 17} came back to the room with a full pizza.
