Lunch at akl?

I'm asking this for a friend....would akl be a good place to meet for lunch if someone going to ak was meeting up with a non ticket holder? I see they only have Mara open for lunch...and what time do they have the breakfast buffet till at that other place, boma or whatever? Whats the policy at akl these days..do you need a ps to park there for lunch? I think he said it would be on Jan 2nd. Thanks for any help or suggestions you can give.

I think your friend would be fine to park at the AKL...just tell the guard that you are meeting someone for lunch...
Too bad it has to be lunch tho....the Mara would not be my choice.
Breakfast at Boma gets great reviews...runs until 10:30...maybe 11:00...someone will give you the correct answer on this one.

If the meeting could at all wait until the dinner hour....that would be ideal....we truly enjoyed Boma at dinner...and many people love Jiko as well.

they could also meet at Rain forest Cafe at AK. You do not need to enter the park gates to eat at the restaurant
