Lunar New Year Celebration Announced

It sounds like at least some of the food booths are staying up. I wouldn't be surprised if they do an earlier F&W this year and just leave them up through that too.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! I just hope that the prices are either lower or the portions are larger next time around. The Festival of Holidays was fun, but the pricing for the tastings were out of balance.

I was always perfectly happy with the gyoza and ginger milk tea at Lucky Fortune and their prices. I'll be a little disappointed if they go away and aren't replaced with something similar for a reasonable price.

Hopefully the pricing/portions will be more in line with the QS locations and/or the previous F&W Festival than they were with the Festival of Holidays. If they continue the FoH pricing, it will be $8 for two pot stickers or something like that! Last year, they were charging $5.25 for one small pork bao, so who knows how much they'll charge this year!

It's like after they had to lower the price of the F&W pass because it was more per item than the most expensive item a la carte they realized they should just up their prices, not offer a more reasonable experience next time around.

I also hope they bring back Chip & Dale to the character rotation. They've been involved in Lunar New Year since Disney first did it at BTR.

Yeah, I was hoping they would offer something like the F&W pass for the FoH, but they didn't. It'll be interesting to see what happens for the Lunar New Year celebration given that it's only three booths and the prices for the food items at last year's Lunar New Year Celebration cart were already on the high side.

Chip & Dale would be great! Wouldn't it be fun if they could add in some character in honor of the Year of the Rooster...although, I guess there aren't a lot of rooster characters...

Does anyone know if they ever do soft openings of the shows? Our last day is January 20 and we really want to see the MSEP. Unfortunately, that means we'll miss the Hurry Home show. Is there a chance they might trial that before WOC the night before or something?
