Lumiere light - not working

We purchased the Lumiere Light at DTD last week and he worked beautifully! Of course now that we are home, the lights won't come on. I have changed the batteries and bought new ones - still nothing.

DH is heading back to Orlando in February - would they accept a return 1.5 months latter? Is there a Disney email address I can use to ask?
 
No, returns are limited to 30 days now. Google the disney merchandise number and call with the receipt info if you have it.
 
So I called the Disney Merchandise no on my sales slip. They CM said a return would be no problem and that they would mail a pre-paid postage slip. Then she asked for my info. When she realized that I am from Canada she asked to put me on hold.
When she returned, she said she just needed to confirm something. They will be sending us a new Lumiere - no need to the return the broken one. So happy!!! DH says it probably has something to do with international shipping/duties etc. No matter. Soon our Lumiere will be shining again!!!princess:
 

I have always had a lot of luck with Disney merchandising. I have only had to send pictures...no receipt. And they replaced a couple of items and didn't require me to mail in the defective item.
