LUMBERTON NC??Comfort

We are doing a 17 hour drive over Feb. break aNd ould like to do a stopover in NC. We are a family of five and I have reserved a Comfort Inn in Lumberton since they have two queens and a sleeper for under $100.

Wondering if anuone has stayed here or has better suggestions?

We are staying at that one as well, we have found the Comfort Inns and Suites to be the best for cleanliness and affordabilty, and Trip advisor is right on with the reviews as well.

Thanks guys! I did check TripAdvisor but then read a few places that said it wasn't that great. Don't need fancy, but I do need clean. But I think for the price it will be fine. I also reserved the Holiday Inn Express in Florence in case we are able to go farther.

Jenn....are you guys heading back to Disney over break? If so, have a wonderful time!

No Disney and we weren't even going to FL until a few weeks ago. We decided we had enough of winter. So we booked to go down Feb 20-28 and we are renting a condo at Bahama Bay Resort. We have left over water park days on our Disney passes and we might end up at Universal/SeaWorld if we get bored. Just really going to get away from the Northeast!! I would have gone to Disney but everyone else in my family wants a break. They are burnt out! Can you imagine that?
What are your plans?

We stayed at the Fairfield in Lumberton in January. It was very nice and reasonable. There is a Cracker Barrel right next door.

Jen....we are actually going to Hilton Head. My parents just moved down there so we are going to stay with them. We were there this past summer and fell in love with it, so we are also going back this summer too. But for Feb., my sister and her family are also going so it should be a lot of fun. Weather is looking awesome too so we are psyched. Want to just walk in the beach, visit Savannah, explore, etc..

My kids also wamted a Disney break so I know what you are saying. It will be wonderful to escape for a while though and I think Fl will be much warmer this break than last one for you. Have an awesome trip! MY MIL stayed at Bahama Bay last year and really liked it!!

Have a great trip visiting with your parents and family! Hopefully you will get a couple of nice days to hit the beach! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that accuweather.com will be well ACCURATE! LOL It's looking good right now and after freezing last year we feel owed a good weather week! Lol
