Luggage

I have been to disney many times, but I have never been to the campground. What does the magical express do with your luggage? Do they leave it on the dirt plot , put it in our rented camper, or do we have to retrieve it from the area where they hold luggage.

They hand it to you when they drop you off at the front desk.

Yes, they have a van that will shuttle you and your luggage to your rented camper and or cabin. They will alps pick you up at your site on day of departure. You will arrange that before you leave, pickup time, etc. Have a magical vacation.

How do they do that if it takes about three hours for luggage to arrive to the resort?

Well if your luggage didnt make your flight, then you have to talk to DME about that. Either way, if it comes via DME they drop off guests at the front desk/check-in. When you leave, you meet the bus at the same location.

It does not matter if someone's luggage makes their flight or not. If luggage has the DME tag attached, their luggage will be held at MCO when they arrive and sent to the resorts separately. This is why luggage is not expected to be available for up to 3 hours after you check in at your resort.

OP: I do not know how luggage via DME works with a campsite at FW. I would think that they would hold it at the desk and wait for someone to call to let them know they were ready for their luggage.

My experience with DME has been the case that checked baggage arrived on the same bus as the passanger. Could just be luck that 2 years in a row it worked out that way. This year I had noone flying down to spend time at the fort. I take and RV, so I can take luggage is the person is nearby me.

Did the guests tag their luggage with the DME tags or pick the luggage up at the carrousel and take it to the bus with them?

The only time I have heard of checked luggage arriving with the guest has been when they did not tag the luggage. They picked the luggage up at the carrousel and took it to the bus with them. I

I was not even are they could be tagged for DME at your departure airport, so my guess is they picked up their checked baggage and brought it to the counter when they went for DME checkin.

I think the original question is what happens to your luggage when it arrives at the fort having tags on it do they deliver to campsite or do you have to pick it up using dme with the yellow tags and checking at airport

I have had luggage delivered three times. They called me to let me know they were delivering the luggage to my campsite or my pop-up since I had already arrived. I didn't have to handle my luggage once I checked in at the airport in Denver. The first time I was a little nervous since the sun was setting and I hadn't received my tent yet!
