He was married to Fanny.

Another pre-1980 reference that someone wont get and it's a shame because it's the best movie ever.

I know.

I fit the stereotype.:rotfl2:

Funny, Nikk does not look like Omar Sharif. :rotfl2:

We travel single-oh
Maybe we're lucky, but I don't know...

You said that like days ago on another thread....you need lessons in taunting dear. Its not a surprise if you've already spilled the beans....

Oh. Well, I didn't think anyone saw it. :rotfl2:

I have no idea what you're talking about other than the fact that a couch in a teacher book I read last night was named "Mrs. Fanny" by a bunch of students. :rotfl:

Not surprising! :woohoo:

is she showing age....or are we? :lmao:

Great movie. Not my all-time fav, but a great movie.

I'm 51 and proud of it!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

And the movie reference is from a film released when I was 8 years old....in 1968.

The play, from which the movie sprang, was debuted in 1964...when I was 5.

That being said...I can recite the dialogue.

"What are ya gonna do? Shoot de schwans?"

Can't you see when you look at me
What a lovely creature is a swan- yo hoo!!
I'm all over fluffy white.
I wouldn't peck at you or bite
And have tiny twinkle toes to dance upon-

Oh was that good?

So you just gotta have a swan
Or you're out of luck
Cause a chicken wouldn't do
it would only cluck
And besides you couldn't say
"I saw Chicken Lake ballet"
They would think you don't know nothin'
You are missing here a button
Cause a chicken's only good for consume
Where upon, where upon,
Where upon where upon
A chicken or a duck is a mistake
When you do Swan Lake!

It would be. :lmao:

Did you watch it while wearing your purple Oakleys, drinking from your Thermos, and eating popcorn from your super expensive carry-on?

That is one of my all time favorite movies!!! :thumbsup2

No fair. I want a cool nickname.

You do know that the movie Father of the Bride (1991) is a remake of a movie that was released in 1950....also known as Father of the Bride?

Right?

And you do know that the names Frick and Frack date from the 1930's....right.

All of these references you are citing come from things that originated prior to 1980.

Just sayin....:rolleyes1
