We usually drive so this isnt an issue, but now we have a quickie trip and are flying for the first time. Our stay is at Pop one night then CB the other 2. How does the luggage transfer work? Thanks

When you call bell services you just let them know that you are transferring to another disney hotel, and they will take your luggage there. They do state that it could take until 3pm for you to get your luggage at the new resort.

Does POP Century have bell service?

Yes it does--I was so pleasantly surprised to see the bell service station by the front door. Mousesavers.com says that Pop is basically a Motel 6 with theming but I don't know any Motel 6 with bell service! And they were quick and efficient when we used them for a luggage transfer from Pop to Coronado.

At the Pop do you have to be in the room when they pick up the luggage? I am thinking of doing the same thing, our flight gets in late and I want to get to the MK for 8:00 AM, so I do not want to be waiting around for the bags to be picked up.

Thanks

No need to be in the room, they ask you to leave the bags by the front window and make sure they're tagged. They also asked how many bags we had. For the luggage transfer they put their own bright orange tags on them with our name, number of bags and destination resort--I'm looking at one of our tags right now and wishing I was still back in WDW. :sad2: Time to start planning the next trip--at least 11 months away, more likely to be 23 months :hourglass

Are you able to pick up the tags ahead of time?

Thanks

I don't know--we figured that they would be adding their own tags to our tags, but that it was something that they had to take care of themselves. When we checked in and left our bags with bell services they did computer/barcode type tags. I thought they would do that for the transfer too, not sure why they didn't, but the low-tech tags that they put on worked anyway.
