I came in on a domestic flight at the end of August and didn't wait very long, but there was a plane from Vancouver that arrived before us and was waiting for their luggage. There were no carts to be had. I had 2 bags plus a carry on, a laptop and a purse. I was grateful I had good wheels on them, but was cursing that I'd left my attachment straps at home.
Also, they didn't (at that time) allow my family in to the arrivals to help me with my luggage. I had to collect it, make my way to the elevators, get up to the 2nd floor and up the ramp to the parkade where DH and sons were waiting.
I was so angry getting off the elevator with one of the bags falling over that I let out a very bad word. Not loudly, but to myself and loud enough. Of course, there was a pre-schooler looking right at me, shocked. I was so embarrassed. I looked at him and smiled and said "I think I packed too much stuff." I hope his parents forgave me. They smiled a little, but it was just a passing contact that reminded me that manners matter, not my anger.
