Hi! Are you able to still get your luggage transferred if having a split stay? Thanks!

I think you can. I've seen a couple of mentions of not just luggage, but also groceries being moved.

Thank you both! I guess I will ask when we are switching resorts. If not we will use Uber or Lyft. I will report back in case anyone else is wondering.

Its been my understanding they will transfer luggage between resorts. Its just the DME luggage handling that has been ceased. I could be wrong, but this sticks in my head from prior reading.

That said, there have been a lot of reports on here over the years of bad experiences when allowing Disney to transfer luggage between resorts. Even if all goes well, it can still take hours. And in these times when they are short staffed with new procedures, there's no telling how it will go. Many here would recommend using Uber/Lyft anyway, just so you can retain control of your luggage and always have access to it. You can store your luggage with bell services if your new room isn't ready yet.

Totally agree! They do say it should arrive by 4:00 pm but we have had ours arrive later than that. I was hoping to just go straight to the park in the morning and not have to arrive at the other resort first but I think we are will uber super early, drop off our luggage, and head to AK. Thanks!
