Luggage storage question

We'll be checking in at BWV on May 9 but will be arriving in Orlando a day prior. I have dropped off luggage with bell services the morning of a later day check-in before with no problem but I'm curious if it's permissible to leave it with them a day in advance of check-in? If this is acceptable, would I tip at luggage drop-off or just upon luggage retrieval? Thanks kindly for your help!

We have dropped off golf clubs a day before check in, but never our luggage. I assume that it would be treated the same, I also know that stroller swaps and fridge swaps from the budget board are sometimes stored with Disney, if there are not people lined up back to back. I believe DH tips dropping off and picking up just like valet. HTH
